GoogleMy experience with Richard James has been extremely disappointing. In my opinion, their approach to maintenance, especially long-standing issues, is unacceptable. The radiator problem in the property had been ongoing for years, and despite repeatedly raising it, it was never fixed during my tenancy. Because of this, I couldn’t use an entire room throughout the winter. It was simply too cold to be in, which is ridiculous for a property I was paying full rent for. What frustrates me most is thinking about the next tenants. I genuinely feel sorry for whoever moves in after me, because they will likely face the same issue and, based on my experience, probably won’t even be told about it beforehand. Based on what I went through, I would not recommend renting through Richard James. You might find yourself with a lot more headache than anticipated with them.

GoogleMoving into UK for only 3 weeks, we have successfully rented a new build with the help of Richard James. The sales were helpful and the manager, Gemma Cowley was most responsive n efficient in our email exchange, clearing all our queries as we are new to the country. If we were to buy a house in future, we’d very much like to stick to Richard James.

GoogleGood to get your deposit but reluctant to give you it back Had 2 years in property repairs not done and had actually improved and left it in better condition than when tenancy started Main thing they WILL GET YOU ON IS CLEANING and GARDEN MAINTENANCE with was a shared communal area Frankie checked in report every thing great Sue checked out report was a military inspection so be warned she will definitely find a hair on the floor or a cobweb then wam a fight to get your deposit even though you have evidence BE WARNED

GoogleCharlie was brilliant, 5 stars, but unfortunately handover to back office wasn’t to the same standard. Communication in final throes of sale wasn’t quite so good, as contacting the office and speaking to somebody, rather than emails, was often difficult.

GoogleBought a house through Richard James, the person who showed the house was nice. But after I was handed to Danny, he applied pressure and pushed us to use ASAP Assured Sale and Progression. Informing us that the sellers were going to use this too so it would make the process easier. This was not the case, not only did the sellers not use ASAP but ASAP were the worst solicitors I’ve ever seen. They wrote inaccurate reports, didn’t respond to messages or read documents sent to them. I can only assume that Danny recommended them so he could get further commissions. When it came to the day of collecting the keys, the agency didn’t even bother to meet me in person. Instead opting to leave the keys with the building receptionist and washing their hands.

Fed up with This agency, we keep chasing our deposit , no response and no clear communication; false and irrelevant checkout report , they do not deserve any star

GoogleBuying or indeed selling a property in my case can be very daunting. With a large selection of people offering to help it can be a minefield that some just choose to avoid. We first met Mark back in March 23 when we decided to sell our flat, it was refreshing to get some honest feedback on pricing and market conditions, we decided to proceed and had dealings with both Mark and Hugo during the viewings process, once sold everything was passed to Laura to progress, although everybody was always happy to help. Laura was a real pleasure to deal with, always kept us up to date on the steps, was often ahead of the game when it came to chasing solicitors etc to. The whole process was as easy as I suppose it could have been, some delays at the end but nothing to do with Richard James and everybody there helped push things over the line. many thanks everyone.
