FacebookI let properties via Richard James near Swindon. They acquired a smaller agency when the owners retired and I "inherited" Richard James as an agency. The organisation is well run and communication is good. Sharon Carpenter (Lettings Finance Manager) has been especially helpful and well organised in providing me with financial statements (even going the extra mile to find statements from the original agency). I should also mention Heidi Maller who deals with the property maintenance who has been helpful, understanding, and well organised.

FacebookDue to reasons beyond my control I needed to find another rental. I saw a potential.property which was viewed on my behalf before being contacted by Georgina Mepham. Great overall customer service so far, another viewing already booked for extra info and top class service.

GoogleBest estate I've been with. Appreciate Delrae Yon proactively calling out when I'd accidentally paid double rent. Was also impressed that when the boiler broke last winter I was immediately able to pick up heaters from central office, very little fuss involved.

FacebookThe lettings team looked after the landlord and the tenants extremely well. Professionally led by Amanda. Sarah, who did the checkout review did a thorough job. Invoices issued by finance on time. Repairs dealt with promptly. It meant we had confidence on their service

FacebookAbsolute shambles of a company. Been waiting 6 months for them to send a plumber to fix a leaking toilet which is a simple fix. Have now resorted to withholding my rent payment until it’s rectified. This is the second time in 10 months I have had to resort to these measures to force them into action. Just as last time, as soon as the rent is withheld they come at you with threats. I would seriously advise anyone taking a property from them to do their homework on the company before making a decision. I have rented properties for the last 20 years and have never experienced any issues until dealing with Richard James!

FacebookHad house on Market in North Swindon & during the process there was bad communication throughout & then after having 3 offers collapse on my property the attitude of a certain person was disgusting & very un professional! Also had people on 3 occasions turn up at my property for viewings without any support from agent. Had to stay through the contract & then changed agent who sold my property straight away & much easier to deal with. The personnel in the North Swindon branch were very disappointing along with the poor attitude! Not something I thought of Richard James having used them twice before without issue! Wont be returning any future business to them!
