Just awful. Didn't bother to even put up a for sale sign. Set up a friend to do a test viewing who said there wasn't much effort to sell the house. Then they come back to me saying I need to reduce the price - to hasten a sale so they can grab their commission. Sacked them in the end and appointed new agency.

GoogleI have just purchased through McFarlane north Swindon. All the staff I dealt with were polite and helpful. Jo was looking after the sales progression. It was quite a straight forward purchase with no chain just myself purchasing an empty property and went through smoothly in under three months . This was partly down to Jo who was on the ball from the start and kept checking everything was on track and no hold ups. Within the next few days a flurry of viewings occurred leading to multiple offers all led by Cameron providing the personal continuity in a property that was still occupied by my tenant. Within a week the optimum sale was agreed and thoroughly impressed by this performance and service. Thereafter Jo Costin took charge as the sales progressor making immediate contact to organise all the requirements, including a new up to date EPC I didn’t know was required. From that point forward Jo coordinated both parties efficiently and always answered a call, never making me feel hurried, giving me time to discuss my points with a truly polite and highly professional manner. GoogleHad a good experience with Mcfarlane, very responsive on getting and organising viewings. Nothing was too much trouble. When it came to the latter stages of my purchase Jo was excellent when communication with my solicitor became increasingly difficult. She went above and beyond to make sure we made our completion date. After care was brilliant to with Jo checking in to see how we were getting on. We had a minor issue when first moving in which Mcfarlane dealt with within a few minutes of us calling and receiving a call back. Because of this, when we recently chose to sell our property we used McFarlanes. To our surprise within 1 week of being on the market we had multiple offers that we were very happy with. Jo Costin at McFarlanes kept us up to date throughout the entire process and proactively chased solicitors and agents to ensure that everything progressed to plan. I highly recommend them.

GoogleI recently purchased a property through McFarlane, as a first time buyer i relied heavily on the advice and help on others, the team here really made the process easier for me, Jo was amazing throughout the purchase, helping me where others were unresponsive or overall unhelpful, i never had to wait long for a response and Jo made sure to keep ontop of every aspect of my purchase, from chasing my solicitors to keeping me informed on the progress of the sellers solicitors! I cannot praise the team at McFarlabe North Swindon enough and will always recommend their services if ever asked!

These people are awful. One woman, who all the tradesmen that visit for to the numerous issues arising in their properties can't bear her. She is so passive aggressive and doesn't seem to realise that the tenants are paying for a service. We have rotten floorboards in the conservatory that was under an inch of water. Black mould keeps coming back over and over again. We can't wait for the tenancy to end. They are utterly terrible. Please avoid! They make you feel like they are doing a huge favour to fix the issues, that's their job!
