I recently had a fantastic experience dealing with Peter Alan for renting a property. Liam Pritchard was taking care of handling the property rent and he was very friendly, supportive and most importantly, extremely professional. Finding a place at a totally new place is indeed, very challenging and stressful. Many thanks to Liam in particular and the rest of the team, the process went smoothly. Even when I had some delays in providing several documents, Liam was very understanding and helped me sort out things quickly. Thank you very much for all your support and hard work!

Poor communication, dont have them do your epc ( they offer one for free, then charge you if you dont sell). Get your own done, its cheaper and don't go for the sales nonsense .

Thanks for your help moving in Charlie. Our experience with Peter Alan had good communication from the agent, lots of calls with updates on the property etc. However, the move in date was delayed the day before due to "electrical checks". Upon moving into the property it was clean, however there were two dead birds in the loft, an unsafe landing light with loose wires and no cover and the cover for the bath was hanging off. The guttering hadn't been maintained and was home to lots of weeds and dirt. I gave Peter Alan 2 stars for this due to the condition of the property and delayed move in date. However, Charlie was very prompt with responses and able to help where needed.

I’d give no stars if I could

I’d give no stars if I could. Whilst in the middle of purchasing a property we were told the house would be kept on the market ans standard procedure for the type of sale and then we were told someone else was buying it. Even though we had already agreed sale. Peter Alan allow us to pay all the money / fees and searches. Left out of pocket and without a home whilst we were in a chain already. Stressful. Lies. Untrustworthy. Scam artists. Would never use myself and would advise everyone to avoid.

I met Jamie hyett Jan 2022 and I wasn't his customer I was buying through Peter Alan not selling. The estate agent who was selling my house messed me about from day 1. I'd found my dream home Jamie was selling. For 6.5 months Jamie went above and beyond to not only be so kind, helpful, caring, always made time for me but to do everything in his power to help me get my dream home. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him with always a big smile. Eventually I left the estate agents who made no effort to help me and I asked Jamie to sell my house and my dream came true. Without Jamie's not just professional approach, his experience and expertise, the thing for me was his genuine kindness and such caring attitude. With his perseverance, it took a year, but we've been in our dream home 8 weeks and it's perfect. Im so grateful to Jamie for everything he did for me. Never change Jamie you were not just the estate agent you became a friend

Poor service. I have rented out several properties- the inventories are all 'good' despite newly furnished, new fixtures and fitting, no evidence of that written. I pay £180 each for the service including check in which has never been done and been caught out several times with the DPS. The inventories ar not worth the paper they are written on

I have privately renting my properties for several years, it got to a point where Things were getting on top me so I made the decision to pass the properties onto Peter Alan to manage….. hands down the best thing I’ve done, they were amazing from start to finish explaining the changes with the existing Tennant’s and new lines of communication etc Added bonus any maintenance has been liaised directly to their head office, and dealt with promptly and efficiently with both Jordan Knill,Carole Shepard and their team orchestrating all lines off maintenance from start to finish. The service we received from the Swansea Marina branch was first class. From the start of the letting process to finish we were kept fully informed. Nadine Hardy (Lettings Manager) is extremely knowledgeable and customer focused. Once we had decided to let the property she was straight into action to secure a tenant and achieved this within 24 hours. She had even acquired a reserve list in case there was a 'hiccup' on the journey. On each occasion we visited the Marina Office both Nadine and Yasmin were most welcoming even though they were always busy. We were in doubt whether the oven was working perfectly and in a matter of hours Yasmin had arranged for a tradesman to visit who checked the appliance. Looking forward to working in close partnership with Peter Alan's Marina colleagues in the future. We would strongly recommend the above personnel to any person who wishes to let a property. Thank you Nadine and Yasmin!

Appalling levels of pressure and Used Car Sales tactics at it's very finest

The most appalling levels of pressure to close a deal and levels of used car sales tactics I have ever imagined! Asking me now to file a complaint instead of allowing my 14 day right to cancelThe tenant was called twice requesting him to sign a tenancy agreement. When that failed, they called his wife an additional three times and she finally relented just to get them to stop calling. Interestingly, they stated in a text “Due to the unclarity of the situation and no communication the tenant has signed the contract. There was no communication with me as I was in bed with covid and phones were off to get rest, BUT they managed 5 calls to the tenant! One of which clearly stated they were not going to sign.“They also sent me this text “Hi Tony, the tenant has just told us that you have informed him we are no longer taking over and not to sign the contract? Please can you confirm to us what is going on, please? As we are at the point of sign-off. Thanks, Matt” SO as I was not able to confirm as I had switched off my phone to get rest from Covid, they harassed the tenant’s wife until she signed! Open question: Matt, is the first thing you should do when you have dug yourself into a hole? Stop Digging! Stood up and too busy for buyer

I arranged a viewing in Swansea and drove from Bristol was running 10 minutes late advised the estate agent and was told if I'm not there 15 minutes after he would leave turned up in time was not there, also post was still in the door call the office was told he had gone to another appointment meaning he had never left me enough time to view the property in the first place don't believe you actually even turned up extremely poor service when called the office wasted a two hour drive. Rude when I call the office saying it was my fault even though I explained and cold when in traffic. Lack of care would not consider buying from this agent at all I advise you to look at the other reviews as well

“Unfair Viewing Unfair viewing Policy Costing Sellers Opportunities

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Peter Alan estate agents. Despite my property already being on the market and having a mortgage ready to go, they refused to arrange any viewings unless my house was under offer. This rigid policy is not only frustrating for buyers like myself but also means sellers are potentially losing out on genuine offers. In a competitive market, flexibility is key, yet Peter Alan seems unwilling to accommodate serious buyers. I would have expected a more helpful and proactive approach. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend their services based on this experience.
