FacebookAbsolute shambles of a company, they had stolen money from my father bank account the day he passed away someone had his bank details and used his bank account to pay a depot and rent over the phone there was no security check nothing at all. when I phoned Peter Alan a week later after finding such a big transaction from his account knowing he haven’t got a property with them they acknowledged the transaction and said there nothing they can do I emailed and phoned them a number of times and each time was getting ignored and lied constantly to, we now have to get the police involved to get this matter dealt with Brian James - that’s all you are is a complete lier and no help from you and your company you should be ashamed

I have just moved to my new home with the help of Molly and Brian who had been extremely professional, helpful, considerate and kind. In a matter of days, Molly and Brian were able to arrange viewing, coordinate all work and checks, and hand me the keys. I can’t recommend enough, you will be in safe hands, I was treated with utmost respect and empathy considering the stress with moving process, always answering my calls, queries, reassuring, and very professional. I don’t think I will be looking further in the future should I move

Completely incompetent staff working for this company. Appalling communication. Staff don't answer calls, they do not respond to emails and take hundreds of pounds in fees but in return, offer a terrible service. I have made a complaint with the company but they have not even acknowledged the complaint, that is how poor their service is. Numerous calls and emails sent to various teams in the company with no response. Website states they are experts at what they do with 60 years of experience. Peter Alan are not to be trusted, they cannot effectively sell or let your property as they do not care about their customers. Customers are just revenue to them.

If you enjoy being lied to, having your time aggressively wasted, and being hunted down like a fugitive by mortgage brokers, I highly recommend the Peter Alan experience.I popped in for a simple brochure for a property advertised in "Radyr." What followed was a hostage-length conversation with an agent describing a location in the "back and beyond." After some intense decoding, the truth came out: it wasn't in Radyr. It was structurally dumped at the back of Llandaff North.She enthusiastically pitched it as a "wonderful, scenic location." I turned up and found it dead in the middle of a council estate, looking like it had been violently stuffed into the back of an industrial estate. No view. No charm. Absolute catfishing. How can you trust an estate agent who tells you a concrete jungle is the Swiss Alps?As a single parent, my criteria weren't exactly a riddle: a safe, nice area around Radyr (like Danescourt, Radyr Gardens, Creigiau, or Llantrisant Road) with a garden, driveway, and good square footage. I explicitly stated absolutely no bad areas or council estates. Instead, I got a magical mystery tour of an industrial estate.But the real comedy sketch was their aggressive data harvesting. I looked her dead in the eye and said: "Do not put me on any mailing lists." She practically gave me a pinky-promise. Blatant lie.Cue the 48-hour harassment campaign:Day 1: A man calls trying to sell me everything short of a timeshare. I demand my details be removed. He promises he'll do it. (Spoiler: He did not).Day 2: A woman calls to aggressively pitch me a mortgage. I went in for a single piece of paper, not a 30-year financial commitment!Tonight: My inbox explodes with mortgage advice and "exciting company options."To top off the madness, their spam emails don't even feature a standard unsubscribe button. I had to solve a digital escape room just to escape: hunt down a preferences page, type my email to get a link, click the link, and type my email again just to log in. Once inside, I discovered they had secretly subscribed me to over eight different mailing lists.I am completely flabbergasted. I didn't ask for a new lifestyle, an industrial hike, or eight new automated best friends. I just wanted a brochure. Absolutely ridiculous.

Please avoid this company if you are a landlord. They let our property out to a tenant who destroyed our home. The tenant had moved not only a new partner in without us being informed but also a large dog which has left a considerable amount of faeces everywhere. The damage she caused within 6 months has cost thousands of pounds to rectify. Meanwhile the tenant failed to pay rent for the majority of this period therefore leaving us in considerable financial difficulty. Despite taking their % every month, Peter Alan failed to carry out any checks of the property during this time and later stated they only did this 'once a year.' We were told upon instructing them to manage the property that checks would be done quarterly. They have since refused to chase our missing rent money after the tenant moved out stating it was 'no longer their problem.' They took no forwarding address for her, therefore we cannot look to pursue this ourselves. On the day she moved out, Peter Alan took new prospective tenants into the property that same evening. We hadnt seen the property at this point, neither were we told about the state of it including a rat infestation due to rotten food waste. The property was in no way habitable yet Peter Alan were willing to continue showing viewers around without asking us first. The staff are always rude, unhelpful and extremely unprofessional. They have completely refused to accept responsibility for the lack of management of the property but happily took our money every month. Needless to say we are pursuing this company civilly for failing to manage the property and for not carrying out a service they were paid for.

Anthony, our agent, has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish - professional, proactive, and genuinely lovely to work with. He kept us updated throughout, made everything incredibly easy to understand, and handled every detail with care and efficiency. I would like to give a massive shoutout to Louie as he went out of his way to help me secure the tenancy and complete all relevant paperwork thoroughly. He also simplified the process and made it easier to understand. I would definitely recommend renting with Peter Alan.

Absolutely disgusted with these people I rented a flat out with them which was full of mould and damp and made my asthma worse which hospitalised me on 3 different occasions I was told I could give a months notice to leave so when I did that they accepted it via email and then lied to say I couldn't leave early and now they got the cheek to try and charge me extra rent when I had already left and they had told me prior to the months notice that all I had to do was either email or in writing my months notice so I emailed them and they took ages answering back roughly 2 weeks to reply to an email basically saying I can't leave and I would be liable to pay rent right up until the end of the contract which is disgusting nothing but lies from these people and I have it all saved and now TDS wants to look into it because I tried requesting my bond back and they are trying to claim for rent absolutely fuming with these none of these people deserve a job because they obviously can't do it properly worst estate agents ever and I would never in a million years recommend these to anyone I want my bond money you thieves it's my money not yours and you can claim for rent all you want but you accepted my months notice and then changed it so all this is your fault and I will keep on fighting this you don't deserve my money PETER ALAN should be shut down immediately

GoogleMy experience with Peter Alan has been wonderful, thanks to Louie and Anthony. They were fantastic in helping me secure my new flat from start to finish. Louie was incredibly helpful in finding the best place to suit my needs and was incredibly patient and welcoming, showing me multiple properties without any fuss. Anthony was also very welcoming and knowledgeable, providing me with guidance on all the necessary documentation and always keeping me updated on dealings with the landlord. They also reached out to offer any additional support.

Becoming a useless company’s makes you to think you got a long term tenancy and then when needed to move due to children and needing more room and then when you need to find another home before the tenancy finishes the sales reps just step on each other toes and no team work in the company, rather give other people that ain’t needing the room for bedrooms to people with no children

Not worthy a 1 star,after weeks of no responses to calls eventually emailed which these people are now saying is the first contact, they will talk over you until you eventually raise your voice to talk back over them when they won't listen at which point you are called rude and they hang up, how they have managed to carry on as a business is beyond me, avoid at all costs

GoogleUnprofessional. The lack of communication from Peter Alan is awful. There were countless times that someone would turn up asking to do work and we had no idea someone was coming. The only positive is Anthony as he was always lovely and communicated well however, this does not make up for everyone else. After moving out we were told that we would receive our rent back after 15 working days as we paid rent in advance. 15 working days later, no rent back. So we emailed and they eventually gave us the money back after a further 4 working days. Then we were told we owed them rent and that they had contacted us by letter. They sent the letter to the property we no longer lived at even though they had our forwarding address. We then had to deal with Kelsey Hancock in order to get our deposit back. We would wait weeks for a reply and would have to send multiple emails and call the office just to get a response. Her service was incredibly unprofessional. She told us our deposit would be released back to us after 10 working days. 10 working days later, no deposit back. The money had bounced back because they put a number down wrong, but did they contact us when the money bounced back? Of course not. We had to email Kelsey asking where the money is and then ring the office because we still didn't get a response. Avoid using Peter Alan Marina at all costs

The worst estate agent I have ever dealt with. As a buyer and a professional in the residential property field, I was appalled at the awful service given by Peter Alan. I had to resend essential information multiple times, chase up their ‘sales progressor’ to reply to my emails and when I spoke to the sales progressor on the phone, the rude and passive aggressive tone she used was beyond unprofessional. The team didn’t even have the decency to respond to my emails at a critical points in the transaction and on the day of completion, they didn’t even bother to tell me we had completed! If I could give them zero stars I would and if I ever sell my house, I will never use Peter Alan as the sales agent.

I moved into a property with promise that the rear garden would be fixed up to standard. Upon moving in, it was still overgrown. I reported a toilet that would not flush, which took them a week to send someone out to fix (no compensation). Black mould and damp, front door not fit for purpose, heating dial not working during freezing winter. Overall, an absolute nightmare. Would give zero if possible.

One star is extremely generous, Upon on viewing the property we were promised that renovation works would be carried out on the rear garden, we have emailed for an update of when works are expected to commence numerous time but been ignored every time. We are also having issues with damp/mould and a woodlice infestation but they don’t seem to care about sorting that. I have filed a complaint to which I have been told to wait upto 15 working days for a response so basically at least 3 more weeks of living in a damp mouldy infested house.
