GoogleI have now been a tenant in one of the properties managed by 2Roost for three years. Before renting with 2Roost, as a post-graudate student with another student partner and with a cat, I have always found myself struggling to get a good property, or often having to pay excessive fees or advanced payments/deposits. Meeting Anton at 2Roost closed that chapter. From the beginning we felt we were being treated fairly, and that the terms we were negotiating were transparent, lawful, and that we weren't being pushed into an agreement we were not happy with, or had any doubts the agency would keep up their terms (as it had previously happened with another Sheffield-based agency). We were also lucky to get an excellent Landlord, interested and looking after his property (previous family home), but also interested in making sure we were ok. Since then, any/all of the issue that you would normally experience with a home (from safety inspections, to routine maintenance) have been a no-brainer, and Anton and 2Roost have been there every step of the way to support us. Likewise, we are comfortable in that we have good security on the long term, knowing that Anton and the team are consistently available, keep us updated, and always inform us of anything they need in good time! I can wholeheartedly recommend them as a managing agency for any short/long term tenancy, and I am equally sure their professionalism and expertise extend across the range of property services they offer.

GoogleRegistered interest to sell/get a valuation. Spoke with a helpful lady at 11am. Who was going to arrange for times to be sent across. Checked at 135pm nothing so called and was told by someone who was clearly talking down to me that they don’t cover that area despite her colleague saying they would unless it was good to go on the market. Not welcoming, cold and indifferent. Would rather put my property on eBay.

GoogleNot the most efficient company. I have been trying to book a viewing for a property to buy, and they have no idea what I am referring to despite an email and multiple telephone conversations. Then I get an email saying that I should contact them to view. They couldn't just send the information via email as I could never speak to the people from your sales team. It's a waste of time

There was only one incident where they allow me to put an offer in when the house was already sold. It happened for a reason as i got a better house in the end. GoogleSome months ago 2Roost received a negative response from the co-owner of my home, his version does not clarify the events that took place prior to my receiving a phonecall from 2Roost informing me that they were unable to market my home due to the behaviour of the co-owner. I'd like to apologise for not spotting the negative review earlier. Everything was going ahead until the co-owner got a bee in his bonnet about the 22 week clause , he totally misunderstood it and had a hissy fit , online via social media and rather unpleasantly on the phone and again via Google maps. Their refusal to market our home was justified and purely down to the co-owner's rude and negative response. I'd like to say that the staff were professional at every level , I was mortified at the treatment their staff received and they were very apologetic but felt their staff should not be treated as such and I agree wholeheartedly. I would still choose 2Roost as they do seem to offer the best package at a more than reasonable price and their staff are a pleasure to speak to.

What a fantastic experience working with 2Roost to sell my property. From the initial interaction with Paula and Bradley getting the photos and valuation, to Kim and Natalie dealing with the sales enquiries, and then subsequent issues with solicitors, the team has been nothing short of brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and the service they provided far exceeded my expectations.
If you need to sell a property, these guys are the best. And what’s more, they don’t charge you an arm and a leg for the privilege !!
