GoogleTERRIBLE!! Please avoid. Thankfully only did 6 months. We had a water leak from upstairs and had to cut power all weekend due to no emergency contact number from quealy and had to wait for a Email Monday for them to only say to basically ask upstairs if they have any problems after a day of back and forth emails which took until the Tuesday for someone to come out and look at the problem. Was also told from neighbours that the previous TWO tenants only did 6 months there too because of bad mould problems. There was a awful smell in all of the kitchen cupboards and later found out it was mould as it ruined everything in there I.e food packets pots and pans. Again after a day of emails I requested the landlord to come and inspect, All he told me was that he couldn’t smell anything and that the previous tenants had a cat and it might be the smell from that??? The week we was moving there was scaffolding out side our only entrance/exit and we were never informed about this and quealy did not know a thing about it.. dirt concrete and broken glass we had to step around for a week. They are all for you when your interested in moving in but when your there they couldn’t care less about you. All the bad reviews I’ve seen seems like everyone gets the same answer, Trust me we contacted them about all the problems and didn’t get any help!!

GoogleDee Quealy runs the best property sales and letting agency I have ever encountered. Honest, professional, fair and straightforward are not words you normally associate with estate agents however in my experience of nearly twenty years of their service, they are worthy of such praise. Additionally I have always found all of Quealy’s staff to be polite, efficient and very helpful. I genuinely recommend Quealys and my only regret is that they do not have a branch where I now live!

GoogleUnfortunately it was not a good experience to rent from Quealys. In the past, I bought my first flat from them and that was relatively stress free however renting is a different story. They inspect every 3 months, having never rented before I was unsure if that was standard but on speaking to other tenants that is a lot. Maintenance-wise they sent the same plumbers round to the unreliable boiler several times to bodge the job. There was a leak once which went downstairs, it was declared unsafe another time and there was difficulty when wanting hot water and heating at the same time. Twice my 2 young children and I were left without hot water and heating during the winter (though they did bring round an oil heater).This all happened in the space of 20 months! But my biggest grievance is the process of trying to get my deposit back which has gone on almost a month. I was a very careful tenant, not even putting a nail a wall to hang a picture on. However on check out I have had to let them keep parts of my deposit for filling on the wall (definitely not me) money towards carpet cleaning when I know they are replacing them all and I was advised by their cleaner not to have them cleaned as they needed replacing and because some weeds were growing inbetween some decrepit paving slabs in the back garden. Along with smaller amounts for the fridge/freezer etc which I just let go. I tried to fight some of it & some money was discounted but in the end I have had to accept over a hundred pounds of deductions as the process was dragging on for weeks and became exhausting. They do not treat their tenants the same as those buying houses from them and in these times particularly, I find that very disappointing. I would never use them again for renting or buying/selling.

GoogleDespite their number of great reviews about their estate agency side, I think their lettings side needs work. Sent an enquiry to view a rental property the day it came onto the market, filled out forms to view. I was told I would get a call to book in a viewing. I never did. Received an email almost 2 weeks later advising that the property has been let. Put me off sending any requests to view their other properties. Having worked in the lettings industry for the past 12 years, this isn’t how you treat prospective tenants.

They are very very friendly and actually take the time to explain and advise on the best solutions rather than just leaving you guessing. GoogleI used this company to sell my home in Maylam Gardens. Sadly it took a while, but I lost a buyer, due to announcements by the short lived prime minister Liz Truss. Quealy kept the footfall visiting the house high and because it took a while to sell, it wasn't parked on a shelf and ignored as I have experience elsewhere. If I ever have house buying or selling in the Sittingbourne area, I will use them. Also I can't forget the sales progressor, Athena. She kept the pressure up on people to get the job done when the chain was at risk of collapsing.

GoogleJack and Emma at Quealy Sittingbourne have been extremely helpful in helping us secure our rental home. We began our journey in Istanbul where we have been living for the past 7 years, and despite the distance, we were able to smoothly complete all the administration 100% online so that by the time we flew back to the UK we had a home ready for us. Also, when we finally arrived in the UK and went to the sittingbourne office, other staff members were lovely and friendly and were able to help us with all our needs. I had so many problems with the chain that I was in, but the staff in Quealys remained, calm and professional, when they said that they would phone me, they did, say that they would email, they did. We have had dealings with other agencies outside of Sittingbourne and none of them come close to how friendly, reliable, efficient and knowledgeable the staff at Quealys are. GoogleQuealy & Co are dealing with the sale of my property and from the moment I made initial contact, everyone has been honest, open and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Quealy & Co and if I had to mention anyone it particular, then it would have to be Lee in the Sittingbourne office. They might not be the cheapest, but they are by far the most professional Estate Agents I have dealt with. They are consistent with their support and guidance, and nothing is too much trouble.
