Finally completed our sale after a very stressful 5 months. Not going to dress it up (in my opinion its an awful process) but one you have to complete to reach the end goal. That being said, my wife and I would like to thank Terry and Lynne for there support throughout the process. From the initial offer all the way through to completion they have both been incredibly professional, always available, a wealth of knowledge and most importantly good listeners when the "going got tough". House buying is one of those lengthy process that seem stressful enough. The team at Your-move especially Terry and Lynne, hats off to those guys, they really did do an outstanding job, they did all the chasing on all sides, we were selling and buying and they were constantly chasing all sides, they kept us updated throughout the whole process. We have just completed on our purchase through Your Move. Terry and Lynne have been great, they have provided us with updates throughout and chased solicitors when needed. Given the current situation it was very touch and go as to whether we would be able to complete however Terry made sure that this was possible and even gave us his personal number to make sure we could keep in touch with him. I shared my experience about YourMove in the beginning above about the way they treated me when I moved in. This has changed, as soon as I was moved in the treatment is repulsing, there was a drastic change from them wanting to take my money to them having me inside and moving foward. I am still having issues with the company since the first week I moved in. I sent an email over a month ago now and I am still waiting for a reply, I have sent in a further two prompting emails and also copied in the branch manager. Still no reply. There is no working thermostat in the property and nights are getting colder, they say that they cannot contact the head office and that i have to do this myself (as if the company isn't able to communicate with their head office). I have rented multiple times and this is by far the worst experience I have had. Nothing ever gets done, nearly four months later and I am facing the same problems as I was when moved in. This month i am refusing to give any rent until the point that everything I reported it attended to. It seems that this is the only way I will be able to get through to the company. Rent prices are inflated, at the time I did not know the area but since living there, multiple properties of the same type have became available from other agencies at a much lower price, when asking them to asess the pricing this is refused. Due to the poor treatment, i will not be renewing my agreement with them and moving out after the first six months to find a more suitable property with landlords that care. Be very careful when it comes to YourMove, that's all that I can say. When I moved into the property there was a mouldy mattress on the back garden, bags and boxes of old food and this bought rats within the seven foot high grass surrounding the property. They failed to take responsibility for this and when I asked about someone doing the work, they told me that someone was coming round to sort the garden (which never happened).

We have been looking to buy a house in the Derbyshire area for some time. Although not selling through Yourmove, we have approached them with a view to buying properties through them. I have to say that we have been given advice and supported by the Swadlincote branch fantastically, even given info that we probably should have recieved from our own estate agent! Lynne has been especially helpful, communication has been fabulous and she has been all the ball with all aspects of the process. I would definitely use Yourmove for future sales / lettings.

I truly believe that they are the leaders in their field and no other agents could give this level of service. The service received from Your Move was 5*. The response times to all communications either phone calls or via email where swift and prompt. We faced no issues in the very rigid time scale that we had between leaving the old property and finding / entering into a new agreement. Your move understood the difficulties we were facing and did everything they could to ensure that the progress moved along as quickly as possible. Emily from the team kept us updated along the way and whilst we felt like we were nagging and becoming annoying, she never showed anything but professionalism in her mannerisms. After dealing with a few properties companies over the years, your move are certainly the most thorough, the most professional and the quickest / easiest to work with.

I would definitely recommend selling or letting through Your Move Swadlincote. My family and I recently marketed our one bedroom flat based in the Mailbox, Birmingham. The customer service from start to finish was excellent! After previously having had a bad experience letting out our flat, it was really important we found the right person / estate agent.
