GoogleWe had another great experience selling a second property in 18 months through Cubitt & West notably because of Kurran Vasdav who acted quickly and had a buyer in just a few day of marketing. Kurran really knows his trade and is well trusted to do the right thing for the customer. We have to also call out Tamsin Billingham who is an absolute superstar. She not only managed the transition post sales to completion but was pivotal in ensuring that everything was followed up on in a timely manner and really and truly managed both ours and the buyers solicitors ensuring they acted timely and effectively. Both Kurran and Tamsin are great assets for Cubitt & West and should be recognised for going over and above. Thank you team!

Nic dealt with initial offer stage and partly on sales transaction. He was very honest and polite; and guided us very efficiently on various aspects of the property. His guidance was very valuable as we were the first time buyers. Tamsin helped us brilliantly during later part of our sales transaction. She has lots of patience; and she assured us of positive outcome throughout our transaction especially when the transaction was getting delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. GoogleAbsolute nightmare. Wrong negotiator advice to offer much below budget caused me loosing a purchase of the property. Negotiators pressuring to choose buyer who have seen "inhouse" broker and solicitor to hit referral targets despite me increasing offer to highest one and having finances arranged. Lack of communication from negotiators, and what is worse lack of basic knowledge of what Agreement in Principle is. I have never came across that bad service not only for buyer but also for seller as he will loose out too. Taking case to Property Ombudsman.

GoogleI put my house on the market in July, choosing a small local firm , Cavendish in Cheam Village . MISTAKE! I hardly heard from them, was asked to do viewings myself as they weren’t available, had to pay for my own floor plan and pics were taken with a mobile phone! Then I called CUBITT and WEST!! What a difference! They came at end of October and I’ve had the opposite experience..20 viewings in one day..house sold!!!! They set up an account with my viewings and feedback!! GoogleAlison and Katie from Cubitt and West (C&W) were fantastic. We were in a chain - our sellers’ agents were C&W. Through this process we’ve learnt a key difference between estate agents is aftercare- some estate agents in the chain did very little to keep things progressing, whereas our agent and C&W worked together at chasing the chain and gave us regular updates. For us things got a bit more stressful unrelated to the sale, consequently if it hadn’t been for our confidence in Alison and Katie from C&W and Siobhan from Cromwells that they would work tirelessly and strategically to overcome the obstacles within the chain, in all likelihood we would’ve pulled out.PositiveProfessionalism

Throughout, they’ve all remained upbeat, positive, supportive and professional. Always going above and beyond to progress our sale as fast as possible and to meet the September stamp duty deadline. Excellent responsiveness and communication through emails, telephone and text. In particular, we’d like to highlight that when we lost our first buyer (as they couldn’t get their mortgage), within a matter of hours the team managed to market the flat again, obtain a viewing and a matching offer. GoogleCubitt and West have been amazing for the purchase of my property. It nearly took me 2 years to buy it as I had a nightmare seller that took ages to put things right and then the pandemic happened where it halted all construction work for a while. On top of it all he wasn't the easiest to get hold off by email or by phone but Cubitt and West persisted and kept me up to date weekly, when they managed to get hold of him. Because the sale took so long I dealt with quite few people in the firm, all of them great, but I'd like to especially thank the manager Katie and Mia who had to deal with the longest for this case and were absolutely fantastic.
