Anton and Alex were amazing! They made the whole lettings process seamless, were and still are always available whenever I call or email and go above and beyond to ensure that both myself and the landlord were and are happy, paperwork’s were in order and the process was complication free! After using another agency prior to contacting the guys at Barnard Marcus, I found the two of them to be a complete breath of fresh air! Whilst looking for a property for me and my friend Sara, we came across one we loved. We were so desperate to get it and we really thought we wouldn't! Layah and Alex went above and beyond to help me and Sara. I really recommend them. I can happily admit that I did not make either of their lives easy, but on my moving day Alex really pushed the boat out. For a brand new estate agent, who I put in the deep end, he really dealt with the situation well. Layah is an amazing manager, again who really pushed the boat out for us and helped us secure the flat. She clearly has years of experience in what she does and she's very good at it! Carrie Rudge, manager for Barnard Marcus, was a delight to work with from the outset. Very professional and honest and managed our expectations from the outset. Carrie talked us through the process and set the price right for a flurry of interested offers resulting in a solid buyer. A realistic offer was accepted and everything was put in place for a speedy outcome. Then lockdown happened. And even though furloughed, Carrie took a welcome interest in what was going on. Even though we became the “estate agents” negotiating tricky parts along the way we still felt guided by Carrie. Carrie was an important part of this transaction throughout and we hope to deal with her again. Thank you Carrie. You are a star.

Jasmine Rokib was our agent that took us to view several apartments. She went above and beyond to help us find a gorgeous flat perfect for my daughter and I and in our budget. Both she and Leya Ricketts are extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. We are Americans with no knowledge about real estate lettings in the UK. No complaints really. Great service initially from stages of viewing, making offer, making the completion date and all the nitty gritty bits between. Normal frustrations with property purchase for various reasons but experienced great help, particularly from Jermaine from the outset who arranged the property viewing for me and continued to liaise with Kelly and the team right through to the point where I collected my keys. I have recently re-let my property through Barnard Marcus and I thought the experience was exceptional. I had previously, over the past few years, used a few agents locally that turned out to be a complete nightmare. We recently put in an offer on a house being marketed through Barnard Marcus, dealing with Kelly in the sales department. Having read earlier reviews, I was dubious and nervous. However, Kelly was very friendly and informative, giving us as much help as she could while remaining professional. The thing I appreciated most was how efficient and reliable she is - she always called back when she said she would and kept us updated along the way. update: MY REVIEW KEEPS ON BEING CANCELLED.What a bunch of clowns. After I’ve been renting a property for 3 months they just keep ignoring my emails about fixing a leak that it’s been ongoing from before we moved in( they only told me after I signed the contract and said it was fixed). I’m living in a dump with mould that I have to clean every week. No worries guys once you sign a contract they will just make sure you can’t contact them again. On top of it they have agreed to reduce the rent of £100 per month but to my surprise the arrears team is chasing me up every 2 weeks saying I have overdue payments of £200 since September.I have called the branch countless times about this mistake and the arrears team as well forwarding emails where I confirm the agreement only to receive another letter last week saying they have suggested the landlord to seek legal advice and that my payment is way overdue(Please stay away from these people nobody knows how to do the job honestly).
