Chancellors are hands down the best estate agents I've ever been a tenant with. They are incredibly responsive and any issues are always resolved quickly. Our property manager, Molly Adams, always goes the extra mile, ensuring we are aware of what is happening at each step in a process and following up to make sure that everything went smoothly and was completed as expected.

GoogleI contacted Matt at Chancellors in Lightwater to ask him to keep me informed of any new properties coming to the market. I gave him our set of requirements. Matt kept in touch with me regularly and when are suitable property came to market Matt contacted me and arranged a viewing. Matt then went out of his way to ensure a second viewing could be undertaken at the weekend for my husband, following which he supported us in ensuring our offer was realistic and acceptable to the vendors. Since our offer has been accepted, Matt has kept in touch regularly. He has been professional and courteous at all times and has communicated backwards and forwards between ourselves and the vendors. GoogleThis is a review for Georgina Turner, who proved to be a real asset during the stressful period associated with the purchase of our house. She was always positive and willing to answer any questions we had of which we had many as the purchase went through during the pandemic. It took us many months to find the right property for our downsize move and during this period we must have met every representative from most of the agents in a large area and I have to say there were only 3 individuals who impressed me with their proactiveness and salesmanship and Georgina was definitely one of them. She followed up and communicated well and we couldn't have asked for more. As for Chancellors as an agent, not so impressed. Our purchase process was handed over to someone at their HQ whose role was to make sure the purchase went trhough smoothly. Apart from an initial email, I never heard a peep from them, which is where Georgina went beyond her remit to help us out.PositiveProfessionalism

GoogleGeorgina Turner from the Chancellors Lightwater branch was amazing at finding suitable properties with our specific requests for a property. She was very proactive in helping us find the perfect home, and where there were properties coming onto the market, she would call us to recommend to go view the property that ticked the boxes with our requirements rather than wasting time seeing houses that weren't suitable. When viewing the property, she was very knowledgable when asked questions. She also had some great knowledge of the local area which helped us make an informed decision. When we found the perfect home, we put an offer in, Georgina kept in communication and was delighted that our offer was accepted, especially as it was a sought after property. I could not recommend a letting agency any less. It is not clear to me that anyone at Chancellors understands the seriousness of being responsible for people's housing and how stressful the letting process can be. They simply do not care at all about tenants and will treat you quite hostilely.

We were renting a property from chancellors that we then purchased. Over a month post purchase they still haven’t paid us back our deposit - they don’t answer us when we chase and still can’t give us a timeline even though the payment was agreed over a month ago.
