I would like to see a big thank you to Chancellors Letting Agent south east management team. Dana to be precise - this is a thank you for all your hard work and patience. I would also like to say thank you to Maya, John, and Liberty. They always attend to my call and every issue I have at the Property. I have used different Letting agencies overtime but the experience I have had with Chancellors has been easy and seamless. Their communication level is clear, respectful, and very understanding. If you are looking at renting or buying a property go to Chancellors - the entire team are trustworthy and of great help.

GoogleUnfortunately you cannot leave less than 1*. Chancellors Lightwater are truly the most unprofessional company I have ever had to deal with. As a seller the marketing price was agreed upon, we were then badgered into quickly signing into a contract on the back of being told that they had a buyer who wad really interested in the property and wanted to view immediately - Needless to say this buyer never viewed the property ( Ploy perhaps to get us to sign quickly?? ) Property is then photographed and sales literature generated but 20K below the agreed asking price, we then challenge Chancellors on this and was advised that all would be OK and that interested buyers would offer in excess - really why would anyone pay more than he advertised price? We had been advised by Chancellors during their sales presentation that all the agents in the Lightwater office are local to Lightwater and have a great knowledge of the area, hence they were the best agents in the area for selling. Well the Open day arrived and we were advised that 5 couples were interested. The agent hosting the open day didn't have a clue of the local area, he had trouble finding the property and more so didn't have any knowledge of the property, which resulted in him knocking on our neighbours door and asking them - how completely unprofessional? Furthermore when potential buyers were asking him the price that would be accepted he was saying the value that was 20K below what we wanted. Basically Chancellors took no notice of our expectations and are only driven for a quick sale. Their Management is non-existent their work ethics are non-existent. Fortunately after raising our concerns in the form of a Formal Complaint we have exited from their contract. Please do take on board our experiences and give careful consideration before signing up with this unprofessional outfit.

The frustrating experience of dealing with a tenant who hadn’t paid rent for 4 months and an accounting team who hadn’t chased the debt, contacted the guarantor or provided an account statement during the period. I was most frustrated when calling the area office. However, Rebecca answered my call and listened to my issues, heard my frustration and took the time to agree a course of action. Not only did she accurately outline the situation, advise what steps she would take to gather the information and committed to contacting me with updates. To be called back with an update was most refreshing and unusual having previously left more than 5 messages for a manager and not receiving a call back.
