This is a review for Georgina Turner, who proved to be a real asset during the stressful period associated with the purchase of our house. She was always positive and willing to answer any questions we had of which we had many as the purchase went through during the pandemic. It took us many months to find the right property for our downsize move and during this period we must have met every representative from most of the agents in a large area and I have to say there were only 3 individuals who impressed me with their proactiveness and salesmanship and Georgina was definitely one of them. She followed up and communicated well and we couldn't have asked for more. As for Chancellors as an agent, not so impressed. Our purchase process was handed over to someone at their HQ whose role was to make sure the purchase went trhough smoothly. Apart from an initial email, I never heard a peep from them, which is where Georgina went beyond her remit to help us out.PositiveProfessionalism

Georgina Turner from the Chancellors Lightwater branch was amazing at finding suitable properties with our specific requests for a property. She was very proactive in helping us find the perfect home, and where there were properties coming onto the market, she would call us to recommend to go view the property that ticked the boxes with our requirements rather than wasting time seeing houses that weren't suitable. When viewing the property, she was very knowledgable when asked questions. She also had some great knowledge of the local area which helped us make an informed decision. When we found the perfect home, we put an offer in, Georgina kept in communication and was delighted that our offer was accepted, especially as it was a sought after property. I could not recommend a letting agency any less. It is not clear to me that anyone at Chancellors understands the seriousness of being responsible for people's housing and how stressful the letting process can be. They simply do not care at all about tenants and will treat you quite hostilely.

DO NOT USE.... Chancellors valued my property way higher than it is worth to win business. Do not fall for the same mistake I did... they have lots of market presence but notice that 95% are for sale and not sold. They tie you in to a long sole agency contract and just ask you to reduce.. sometimes twice in the space of one week!!! My property was on the market in June and they have not had one viewing. When out of contract, they tried to claim if I go with another agent, be sure of who their introduced buyers are. By 'Introduced', they classify this as someone spoken to about your property and not necessarily actually been out to view. Based on this I was expecting at least 100 people being in the profession myself. When withdrawn the list of 'spoken to / emailed to' buyers was no more than 30. They claim to be a good agent and use neighboring offices to play to their advantage however clearly this had not been done due to the few people spoken to despite being on market for 3 months. Leads were missed and or not called until the next day. Not a proactive agent and only interested in the money-earners. Anyone with a 1/2 bedroom - AVOID AVOID AVOID.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

A review for Shelby Chandler-Wootton as she was our middle to last contact who helped achieve what we thought was the impossible. She went out of her way to make sure our buyer was getting stuff done. We believe between her and a 3rd party involved with the purchase of our new home, they got this done on time! We thank you so much for pushing our buyer because we soon learnt a few weeks after moving that they had absolutely no interest in living in our old home and have now LET this out thus confirming why it was more stressful waiting on them getting documents sent (they didnt really care it seemed, either too layed back or incompetent). We genuinely thought we were going to lose our buyer 1 week before Completion and by this point, both us and our sellers were already underway with moving and selling items. Shelby did what she could to get this over the line so we thank you!
