GoogleI am extremely disappointed with my experience at Chancellors Lightwater. After having my offer accepted on a property and starting the buying process, I was unexpectedly informed that the property was sold to another buyer who offered a higher price, despite my offer being accepted and us already incurring costs for surveys and legal fees. This practice, known as gazumping, is not only unethical but also highly unprofessional. Chancellors Lightwater showed a complete disregard for the time, effort, and money that goes into the home-buying process for their clients. I would caution anyone considering using their services to think twice, as their business practices seem to prioritise profits over trust and integrity. Avoid them at all costs!
