My partner and I were looking for a property in Surbiton as first time buyers over the last three months where Chris Close from Seymours was our primary point of contact throughout our search. We had an outstanding service from Chris where he really took the time to get to know us and identified properties that fit our search and personality really well! We appreciate and value everything he did for us, and genuinely thought his approach to helping us find a house was head and shoulders above what we experienced elsewhere. We’ll definitely be returning to Chris at Seymours if we ever need an estate agent to buy or sell a house again, and of course we wouldn’t hesitate recommending getting in contact with Chris to anyone currently on their property search!

I can only say that this was a first class service. Our agent, Kian CB, was fantastic. He wasn’t too pushy, new what we wanted and supported us in making our own decision. He challenged our thinking and ultimately we are in our dream home because of his range of skills. We thought that he may be a fantastic ‘front man’ and that we would then be let down by the rest of the back office services - this wasn’t the case. The whole team were efficient, effective and most importantly; they were invested. We won’t be moving any time soon but if we did, we’d be using Seymours.

Craig Custance is by far, the best agent in Surbiton. We initially dealt with Craig when looking to buy in 2016, but disappointingly, we ended up purchasing via another agent. Roll on 2 years and when looking to sell our beautiful flat, Craig was the obvious choice. His positive approach to his job is infectious and despite a tediously slow transaction, we got there eventually, which was no doubt due to his perseverance and excellent negotiating skills! Reliable and efficient lettings service with Shaana and Sam at agency in Surbiton, great communication with landlords, would recommend it. LATER UPDATE: I was then passed from one agent to another, so it became difficult to "track" who to talk to for stuff, as it was always someone else's responsibility. Then, all of a sudden, I was being chased for the renewal even though I told them I was on my honeymoon and it was still two months ahead, which is something that really bothered me. Finally, when it was time for us to move, they insisted to charge us money: lucky enough the owners agreed we left the flat in a better condition than it was. All considered, I must sadly say that it was the worst experience with a flat agency in South London.

Seymours in Surbiton were recommended to us by a friend and we would definitely advise anyone we know to use them. Friendly and professional, out of 4 estate agents we initially met with, John and Nick were the most willing to give a realistic valuation rather than an inflated one. Our estate agent Craig was simply brilliant. He pinpointed which of his network of clients would be most interested in buying our flat, and found a buyer for us twice within a few days (the first one fell through as we had to pull out of our purchase) and the second buyer was gained at the same price point in a falling market. We then had a difficult chain to contend with, but Craig was great at giving us advice, keeping us informed, dealing with the other estate agents & solicitors in the chain and generally helping to ease the stress, and always with a smile on his face! So pleased we went with them, we would definitely use them again.

I would highly recommend Seymour’s, my estate agent Craig was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and he would always keep in touch to let me know how things were progressing and any general updates, even when he was on annual leave. We have known John Flynn for many years and he really is “Mr Surbiton”!! He and his team are specialists in selling and letting properties in Surbiton and Thames Ditton. Their manner is totally different and they take a holistic view. You never feel like you’re just a number. Our house was a tricky one to sell, and we had been unsuccessful with another mainstream agent. Within a week of Seymours taking on our house we had our first offer. They have such a lovely way about them and are always have time for you to pop in and say hi or call them to moan about something or other. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them they are a great team and if they can’t sell your house - no one can!!!
