We've viewed a few properties with Chris from Seymours in the past month and have had such a brilliant experience with him from the first call to meeting in person - I felt compelled to write a review as he's one of the only agents we've had (out of many in Surrey) who has been so helpful and great! For example: I explained on the phone what we were looking for and very soon after, Chris showed us three properties in one afternoon, *all* of which we could see ourselves living in! The house hunt has been rife with having long calls re: criteria but then being sent listings or taken to viewings for places out of our budget or with not enough bedrooms etc, so that fact that he'd clearly listened to what we wanted and booked properties that were practically perfect for us was so refreshing, it felt like he really respected our time and had done his homework on what we wanted. Plus he was very knowledgeable on the properties when we were at viewings also, immediately knowing the answers to all of our questions etc. Chris has always been quick to follow up on viewings without being pushy - we've really gotten the feeling that he wants what's best for us and strikes a lovely balance of professional and friendly, we felt so at ease with him and would really recommend :)PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

However, both the sellers and ourselves would have preferred to be in contact with each other since houses are very personal affairs for both parties. Seymours refused to let us do that which we did not like. The overall impression being they knew best regardless of our wishes.

The first house we bought was represented by John at Seymours and it could not have been a better experience. He was reliable, amazing communication from beginning to end, very straightforward so it never felt like we were having to play games. The pure competence he displayed made me so happy. Our house had some legal complications and if it wasn't for his constant updates and follow ups on all fronts I don't think our papers would've gotten processed in the time that it did and we might've had to pull out, so let's just say he saved the whole deal. If I am in need of an agent in the future he will be my first choice for sure!! Who knew one could feel so strongly about an estate agent?? Not me until now.

My wife and I are extremely grateful to Nick, Sam and John for all of their hard work in securing the sale of our house and the purchase of another. They worked tirelessly and with great humour in the face of my constant bombardment of telephone calls. They secured a sale extremely quickly and smoothed out the wrinkles in the chain to ensure completion took place as quickly as possible, bearing in mind various probate and funding issues with which other links in the chain were faced. Without the assistance of Seymours in harrying the various solicitors and parties to the transaction, I am fairly certain that the various transactions would have been delayed, possibly to the point of collapse. A big thumbs up. Thanks, guys - we were delighted with your service and are very happy in our new home!
