We completed on the purchase of our property 2 weeks ago. Marcus, was the one involved from start for our hunt for a new home. He is a kind and supportive gentleman, always made sure our queries were forwarded to the seller when needed, answered our questions and kept us informed about the process. He guided us through the process with knowledge and proactive approach. Mariana helped too with some queries.The only reason we haven't given 5 stars is because on the day of completion, Marcus was away and there was a breakdown of communication for arranging the collection of our key. We had a call from our solicitor at 1 pm to inform us that the completion has gone through and we can collect the key from the estate agent. We waited for almost 2hrs for a call from Hawes & Co to come through, we thought we need to give some time in between. This call never came through so we called Hawes and co. and were told that the key is ready to be collected for the past few hours. It's a shame that this happened at the last minute as it could have been a happy ending - rather than ending with some frustration and anxiety.Regardless, we got our key and would recommend Hawes & Co , Marcus, he'll be more than happy to help and make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

We chose Hawes & Co after putting our House up for sale last year.Michael Gibson came to sell their company to us and we were very impressed!After haggling with the percentage rate, we agreed and were delighted with the response we got, we actually sold the house almost immediately, but through no fault of theirs or ourselves, It fell through but immediately was put back on sale and once again we were amazed when we had three Viewings the day after!We were then passed over to Liana Cornock Who worked tirelessly on our behalf to secure the sale which finally exchanged just yesterday.We found the whole experience with Hawes & Co very professional and light-hearted also, able to talk to them as if we’d known them for years!I definitely would have no hesitation in recommending Hawes and Co to anyone interested in selling their house.Many thanks Liana, Michael & the team at Hawes & Co

Helped seal the deal again

We bought our last do'er upper from Marcus so it was a great coincidence to see him at the viewing of our soon to be next house. We have ended up with a gem of a house, marketed at a sensible price. Marcus was great at forwarding our correspondence to the seller, arranging extra viewings, answering our Qs and kept communication going through the process. Very smooth transaction. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because when we phoned to get our then current house valuated (back in Sept 2020) whomever answered told us we 'd have to wait two weeks which was a shame.

We decided to use Hawes to sell out flat as we bought from them and already knew Damian. Naturally there were the stresses that you could imagine selling a flat during the pandemic but Damien and John were fantastic from start to finish. I cannot praise Michael Gibson of Hawes and Co Surbiton highly enough. My elderly parents wished to buy a flat to move from their home of 58 years . Michael was sensitive to their needs and to their emotions in what was for them a massive step and upheaval. He facilitated their viewings and extra viewings to make the whole experience easily bearable for them . Recently sold my property with Hawes and Co and I have to say that Liana was amazing, so hard working, supportive and reassuring in what is a very stressful situation.
