This is a review based on the service received from Hawes and Co in Surbiton.The sale itself wasnt an easy one. The apartment sold belonged to my late aunt, who died unexpectedly. I was left to be executor of her estate as the remaining family reside overseas, enjoying the sunshine where ever they are.Sarah and team worked pretty much round the clock, getting in potential buyers on a property that had a short lease left. Buyers came and went but Sarah still had a lot of faith selling this property.We had a lot of fun and games. Sarah would take lead and deal with a lot of conveyancing queries and was always there to follow up on any disputes, no matter what time of the day or week, including out of hours!Due to the current environment, a lot of staff have been furloughed yet Sarah was still there to see the sale through.I cant thank Sarah and colleagues enough for their support throughout, it has definitely been an experience.After all this time to sell the place, now its complete, I will miss our little chats here and there.I highly recommend the team if you plan to sell your home. I've experienced buying and selling property but can honestly say, Sarah's passion to getting things done is nothing but exceptional. Thanks guys and once this lockdown is over, I will be back with some promised drinks to celebrate!

Sold our house in Berrylands last year…

Sold our house in Berrylands last year through these guys. First of all they valued it a touch higher than another well known local agent and offered a lower fee. I am a bit sceptical about over-pricing properties but Sarah was correct. Our sold price was higher than the other agent recommended as an asking price.Throughout the process, which was tortuous due to load of issues beyond our control, the Hawes team kept us informed, were realistic and helped get the deal over the line. Good job - well done Sarah and team.

First time buyer purchase

I worked with Sarah and several other staff towards purchasing a property as a first time buyer, which unfortunately fell through due to a price dispute caused by the extent of remedial work. The team were polite and helpful throughout the process and gave realistic advice on what would happen next at each point. Sarah was generally prompt at meeting me at the property (except one instance where I got a call to explain she was stuck in traffic) and several times replied to email despite being on holiday.

We had the pleasure of dealing with Richard, Sarah and Amir along the process of our sale. They were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. We bought a flat in Brighton road Surbiton in March 2018 through Hawes and Co Surbiton. We had been looking for just under a year when we saw the flat online and so the last thing we wanted was to deal with another comission thirsty agent trying anything to sell us a property. We dealt with Samuel and Greg who were absolutely fantastic!! They showed us around the flat on 2 or 3 seperate occasions while we were trying to make our minds up and each time they had lots of patience and told us we must take our time and do what we feels right. Was really nice to have an agent deal with you on a personal level for a change. Even once the offer had been accepted and we went through the various purchase stages, they were a breeze to deal with. Highly recommend them to anyone and we will be sure to consider them again In future if we ever sell or rent out.

I always thought the letting agents are just there to rent on behalf of owners - I was so wrong. Charlie and team have been so fantastic and responsive whenever we needed them. We had a burglary and they were here with us even before police - supporting us not only with fixing things but providing mental support as well. Move in 10 days

Our challenge was to find a property and move in within 10 days.Due to starting a new job in the immediate future I had to find somewhere quick. I viewed a couple of properties in the area with other agents but when I met Elizabeth everything became easy.She listened to everything me and my partner were looking for and shortened our list of properties to those that fit. When we settled on one I asked the question, "can we do this in 7 days?"Elizabeth said it would be a push but it could probably be done. Over the coming days Elizabeth was always available to take calls and kept us up to date with everything that was going on.In the end we didn't make the 7 days, but we were in within 10.Highly recommend Hawes & Co and should I be looking again in the area Elizabeth would be the first port of call.
