GoogleWe recently completed our home purchase in Surbiton and couldn't be happier with the care and service we received from Sarah and Dovy. This was our first time buying a house and we felt that the agents cared for our interests, not just their vendors - the communication was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble, they even made sure the recycling bins were out on our exchange morning so that didn't arrive to full bins. Our flat was shown to prospective purchasers by Dovy who was the perfect viewings agent and he gave us excellent communication and feedback throughout. Sarah Walker co-ordinated the sale right up to the very end. She was also excellent and dealt with complexed situations regarding enquires related to the lease. Sarah used her wealth of experience and problem-solving skills to drive the sale over the line. She was particularly helpful and understanding and kept us well informed at all times. GoogleI recently used Hawes & Co to sell my property in Surbiton. What initially started as a quick process turned into a surprisingly lengthy one due to issues out of our control further up the chain which resulted in considerable stress. Throughout I felt Hawes & Co were professional and, whilst they had the relationship with myself as the vendor, were also able to offer me objective advice. I found their fee structure competitive and transparent. The quality of the marketing and photos were absolutely excellent. Of particular note are Sarah Walker and Michael Gibson - both possess excellent local knowledge and Sarah particularly went above and beyond to ensure the sale went ahead. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

John Cooper and Hawes & Co really earned their fee on our sale (and I cannot say that of many agents I’ve dealt with). They proactively drove the first sale which alas fell through in the cladding crisis. Drove the second sale once everything was fixed and it was great to see an agent chasing both sets of solicitors until completion. I would highly recommend !

TrustpilotSurbiton branch letting agents. Worst ever!
I rarely leave reviews for things but I just have to for these jokers. I'm referring to the lettings agents at the Surbiton branch. The most stressful experience ever. They f**ked up referencing application. The company they used made multiple errors but wouldn't speak to us directly so we could point out the mistakes they had made, but H&C couldn't bother their a*ses to do anything about it. Only through constant badgering for anyone do anything. And there was no sign ever of an apology for all the mistakes that had been made.. especially considering to are made to feel like this are your fault or you're just not up to scratch. (I could easily afford the property and have never defaulted on a bill in my life!) They also ripped up off when we left the house. Over 1.5k of charges. 1k of which we never agreed to.. they just made up the charge. Frankly I just wanted to be done with them but I regret that. Joe who was our agent but was practically a child. I'm not afraid to dig in my heels when I get a bad service and he clearly didn't have the maturity to see this as his responsibility. He just treated me like a nagging woman tenant. The passive aggression through our whole dealings with him was unacceptable. Do yourself a favour and give them a wide birth.

Stephen, Robert, and the sales team were very patient and courteous during a rather long and tedious house purchase process. The team was always at hand, was very accommodating with viewings and arranging access to the property, and promptly coordinated communications between both parties and solicitors. In what otherwise tends to be a very opaque process, the Hawes and Co. team ensured we weren't left in the dark.

GoogleAfter a fall through buying a different property with another agent we contacted Hawes & Co Surbiton to see if they had any similar properties as our mortgage product was about to end. We spoke with a lovely lady by the name of Liana, who told us her Manager Richard had just been out to value a property that fitted our description. Hawes and Co arranged a one-off viewing for us before it went live online, we loved it, offered , and had it accepted without it going to market. Fast forward 8 weeks we exchanged and completed. Tremendous amount of gratitude to the Surbiton team for finding us a home.
