We have been into seceral local estate agents with viewings all over Aylesbury over the last few weeks as looking into moving into the area from high wycombe. Chancellors have been the most accommodating and really took the time to help me out especially with my partners many requirements. Would really like to say a massive thank-you to the Aylesbury team especially Nathan Armstrong for all his help and patients.

I would like to give a special thanks to Chenge Dziya for making my move so much easier. Her professionalism is second to none and has always managed to help me with queries I've had since moving into the property. Chenge has always managed to help me really quickly and has always gotten back to me within the promised time frame. A big thank you for all if your help.

o whom it may concern, I am not used to giving this kind of review or writing at all because I believe that we can all make mistakes. But I think there are mistakes that cannot be made 3 times. A month and a few days ago exactly I started to fill out the documentation to acquire a house with Chancellors. They called me very early every day and they were always very aware of what I needed. It took me a week to fill out the form and send all the documentation. The landlord approved us and only our references were missing. They sent us the contract for 25th June and we are supposed to have the house that day. They called me and told me that at 11:30 am on the 25th we would meet at the house to hand over the keys. On Tuesday 23rd June they emailed me to tell me that unfortunately they have to delay the day of moving because we did not have the complete references. We accept that and delay the day to 1st July. On July 1st we were told that it was impossible to move in because the Landlord had withdrawn the application due to our references and 3 days later an email arrived saying that our references are correct. On July 2nd the girl from the agency called me and told me that she has another house that we do not need anything else. That we do not have to worry at all and that she was going to take care of everything and we could move on 9th July. As we were supposed to move on 25th June. We paid rent and deposit on 22nd June and from that day everything was delayed. We thought because they were just putting everything in order but each time we were delaying and delaying more and more. We are on July 7 and the only thing I have done is try to call them and speak to the person in charge but they tell me that at the moment they cannot speak with me. Another very relevant point is that Lucinda Sturla the girl from the agency no longer works there since July 4 and now the manager was Olivia. I am trying to communicate with Olivia from that same day, July 4 and it is IMPOSSIBLE. I spoke to the manager, John and he says he can't do anything because he doesn't have the letting department. What type of company does this to its clients who HAVE ALREADY PAID AN INCOME AND A DEPOSIT OF MORE THAN 2,600.00 POUNDS? The MASSIVE PROBLEM is that at the moment I am on the street because I am supposed to sign a contract for June 25 and then for July 1 and THERE IS NO ANSWER. I left my house on the 25th because the contract ended. This agency takes money from you and does not care about you. This is unheard of and disrespectful to us. Now I am trying to get my money back for two days and I don't get a response. Finally I decided to take legal action and go to lawyers because it seems disrespectful to me.

I bought a house through Chancellors and dealt with someone called Sebina. I found the service was very efficient and always getting back to me with the relevant information. Sebina was lovely and always kept me in the loop and never minded me chasing up the status of the purchase! Great customer service. My house has now been completed and I receive the keys today. Thank you very much.

Worst customer service. Filled up online booking form for viewing 10 days in advance. Nobody contacted for days. I have started calling them but no competent person picks up phone just promises that someone will call me shortly to confirm viewing slots. Well - noone did. Finally received an email saying the day I chose for viewings is "the busiest for Chancellors" - well it is a Saturday as it is my only off day - and they are only able to show me 1 property out of the 8 I expressed interest to view! Very disappointed.

Terrible company. We lost a property we liked due to their incompetence and the reference company not doing their job properly. We are STILL owed money back from them (as of today’s date, 6/4/19) and when they say ‘’someone will call you back, they NEVER do! Reference company report came back as my income "not earning", when in fact last year I earned well over £30,000, which I proved all 3 times they asked for my bank statements. They also said that my fiancé had NOT declared about a CCJ he had. He DID declare it and we sent proof it had been satisfied. Also, we are disputing it anyway as we did not know about it until very recently. But they lie all the time, and I have read this on other reviews also. Avoid like the plague. They are a headache and there are much better estate agents out there. If I could leave no stars, I would.

We recently purchased a property with Chancellors in Surbiton. Josh was a brilliant support. He would meet us in the evenings, at the weekend, whenever suited us to show us properties and then when we had our offer accepted he also accompanied us whenever we had workmen in to check the property over. Would highly recommend Josh and the team at Chancellors in Surbiton!

I recently bought a flat in New Malden. Thanks very much to Andrew and the team in Surbiton Branch. They always pass the massage on time and return the call promptly, also updating information quickly. Andrew phoned me before he went on a leave, it impressed me. Everything went on smoothly with the purchase. I am happy with the service I received from Chancellors.

Well, where does one start? Firstly, if I could mark it down as zero stars or minus I would do, so I guess they have Google to thank on this instance. Anyway, myself and my partner were booked in to see Flat 11, Highcroft in Surbiton with Hannah Whitney on Wednesday 26th September 2019 at 5:30pm. I had called in advance to confirm that my partner was booked in to see the property and that we would be there at 5:30. I was expressly told by the representative that she would be there at that time to show us the property... so we had arrived there on time only to then have to wait around for almost an hour and a half with no sign of the agent. We thought, okay sometimes people are running late and to be fair there are on going roadworks in this area. We then called the estate agents who had advised that she "was on her way and that she was caught up in a bit of traffic" - this was at 5:35pm. Again, time passed so we thought let's put in another call yet again, this time we had gone through to the so called "head office" and they had mentioned that they would call her directly and also put a call through to her manager Ryan to see what was going on. Any guesses as to what happened next? We waited around again for a call back, nothing yet again. Pathetic. We put in a call once more at around 6:45 and again it went through to the "head office" who then had the audacity to tell us that she had actually been there for around 20 minutes waiting for us... sorry, given the fact that we actually live in the 21st century would not taking the number of clients and calling them to see where they are not be the logical thing to do? Also, correct me if I'm mistaken, how could someone that is "caught up in traffic" be the same person that has apparently waited around for 20 minutes before? I hope the landlord of this property has time to look at this review and actually put two and two together as to why their property is yet to be rented. Oh, and we were also apparently meant to be "contacted as a matter of urgency" the next day (being Thursday 27th September) by either Hannah herself or her manager Ryan but of course, absolutely nothing. Utter shocking handling of a customer's enquiry and in all honesty if it were my property under their management then it would be revoked with immediate effect. When you guys have a minute to read then this I think it would be nice to get a phonecall, just out of a thing called common courtesy.

An absolutely terrible company, please don't waste your time going with them. Shocking customer service, not delivered on anything they promised. Continually lied to us, only arranged viewings when they were told they were doing a rubbish job.....Which then seemed to cancel before the actual viewing date. We lost the property we wanted due to their lack of ability to sell or even recieve an offer on ours. Verbally agreed a 12 week contract and then changed this when I came to signing to 22 weeks!!! Very misleading and unprofessional. Very disappointing experience, they don't even deserve 1 star. Trying to charge us for 'marketing' costs, which apparently aren't related to customer service?? Please. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs.

Every dealing we’ve had with Chancellor’s has been terrible. Rude, arrogant and unhelpful is how I would describe every member of staff I’ve dealt with. We have moved out of our rental property, our landlord has said we can have our full deposit back but chancellors are ignoring our calls and emails. I’m absolutely disgusted with this situation - think long and hard before you use this estate agency.

Dreadful service, continuous changes in staff, failure to carry out basic instructions, continuous failure to keep records up dated, continuous failure to fully and completely inform vendors of what has or hasn’t been agreed, and ultimately to blackmail vendors to make good your failings. This is NOTHING short of disgraceful behaviour, that had our decease aunt not been such a kind person we fully would have left this run to court proceedings, comfortable in the knowledge that we would countersue for the costs and interest and that we would happily have involved media at the most valuable to Chancellors point…locally, whilst defending / countersuing. At no point has Chanellors managed to even reply to questions / respond to complaints (and there is a very long list of them) nor unfortunately have Chancellors apologised to us, and the costs incurred by their numerous changes in staff, failure to comply to instructions or update staff etc, has ultimately cost a charity well over £1700! Disgusted
