Having put my company up for sale with Knightsbridge just as the covid pandemic hit obviously was very bad timing, however after the initial lockdown things started to move along. Initially I had totally unacceptable offers from the “tyre kickers” but Knightsbridge had to make me aware of these offers. After some time, serious offers were put forward and after a series of unforeseen complications an offer was accepted and the sale went through within a 4-month period. I was guided through the complicated legal requirements and procedures by the solicitors who’s costs were included in the package. I would like to specifically acknowledge Jennifer for her exceptional performance in helping with the sale of my company. In so many ways did her professionalism in keeping thing moving especially when delays were encountered. She managed to push things along at a steady pace, especially when the legal requirements seemed to get stuck in a rut. Her positive attitude was acknowledged as part of the overall success of the sale. I would like to thank her and all at Knightsbridge for all their effort in concluding a very satisfactory sale.

UPDATE MAY 2024SO....despite the below, and the fact they claim to have removed my details from their systems, they have emailed us AGAIN this week (twice). I'm now going to take this issue further. They're blatantly breaking data protection laws.How does this company have good reviews? They're so desperate for business, they CONTINUALLY BOMBARD us with spam. I've asked on four or five occasions to be removed from their mailing list...last time they "promised I'll never receive another email"...guess what, they LIE.The person spamming me now is Paige T. 1) Where did you get out details from. 2) You're breaking the law. 3) I'm now considering legal action to take this issue further. It's borderline harassment."I've been sorting through my recent emails and realised I haven’t heard back from you.Are you free for a quick chat about a potential business sale? We're continuing to see interest in similar businesses which we are representing at the moment.You can reach me on xxxx or just drop me a reply with a suitable time and date and I will put it in my diary."- Let's guess; if you're looking at this page now, you've seen this email, too.I wish I could upload screenshots here. TrustpilotLong wait after you pay Marketing Fee
The most important thing to realise before engaging is that after you pay your upfront marketing fee you will get an email saying it will then be 10 to 12 weeks before your business is even on the market. While some time is to be expected it's difficult not to see a lot of the delays as simply being under resourced. It was even a week long wait because their "allocation" team only meets on a Tuesday. Looking through some of the more honest reviews on here it doesn't seem the quality of that output form that time is worth the wait or cost. I have asked for a full refund of the marketing fee.

Paige my agent was amazing always keeps in touch and she will always try and get back to you the same day if she was busy ,I felt a little let down by the company because when I originally signed up the man I signed up with told me they had 100s of people on their books looking for cafes but never had one viewing from their customers only the ones that Paige sorted from rightmove but I understand you can’t force people to buy but I believed from what I was told that it would be sold within 3 months but it’s taken two years to even get someone slightly interested but again I couldn’t fault Paige she was amazing

The sale took considerably longer than forecast, but part of that was down to stringent requirements we insisted on from the buyer. Also the predicted value of the company by Knightsbridge was optimistic to say the least. We agreed to go for the deal which included legal fees and would definitely recommend this option - the solicitor they provided did a fantastic job; they were fast to respond and very thorough in everything they did. I would certainly recommend Knightsbridge; just take the valuation with a pinch of salt!
