GoogleI regretfully trusted Knightsbridge to help me sell my business, but the experience was far from satisfactory. Their valuation was way off the mark, leading to a prolonged period of uncertainty and zero progress in finding a buyer. Their lack of understanding of the market dynamics was evident throughout the process. To make matters worse, their communication was subpar, and they didn't seem to care about my concerns. I was left in the dark for long periods, wondering what was happening with the sale. Their inefficiency and lack of professionalism were deeply disappointing.

Moreover, the lack of interest from potential buyers highlighted serious flaws in their marketing approach. asked for details about a company filled in the confidentiality form phoned and phoned kept getting told they had the form then another person said they didn't have the form. emailed them the form a further 2 times phoned was told they had the form then sent the wrong details for the wrong company not the one requested. phoned and emailed and told them that and asked about the one i wanted details for gave up in the end as this company doesn't seem to know what they are doing and never got the details requested after numerous calls and emails

This is my experience with this company. They talk a big talk, sign you up, create a nice looking brochure and list you on various sites including Rightmove....and then...nothing.The promised list of potential buyers created by the 'research team' turned out to be mainly small clothing shops in Cornwall or big brands with no synergy.No updates or feedback untill I started chasing after a few months. Perhaps they will send out an email or two to one of your company suggestions, but that is it, no serious attempt to actually speak to someone...yes cold calling is hard Matthew, but how are you going to broker a sale on a speculative email which is likely to be ignored? When I finally got tired of no progress and threatened my notice, instead of receiving a call about how the service could work better, I received an email from the finance dept referring me to the contract I signed, which obligies the seller to pay a transaction fee for a period of 52 weeks after the termination of the agreement if a sale takes place.And that people, appears to be the actual business model for this company - take your money, do little after listing you on a couple of sites, and then take their commission if you manage to sell your business through another route, even after you have terminated the agreement. Bearing in mind, you have already informed them of the possible potential buyers so they could send them an email - this now precludes you from trying to sell directly.If yours is a regular business, then list yourself directly on rightmove and save your money. Niche businesses certainly don't use this company, as they do nothing above the minimum, and the 'research team' that you were promised would be working tirelessly on your behalf is a nonsense.
