GoogleAppalling service from day 1 as a Tennant. On the day we were due to move in they realised the prosperity didn’t have an epc. Costing us an extra day van hire. The check out when we moved out, was done behind our back, well after we vacated the property. The refused to answer simple questions, such as “what inventory did you use” ? And frequently lied about information only to get caught out. Would never use them again

GoogleWORST estate agent I have ever dealt with, had a viewing booked for the first time with them last year, the agent never turned up (thankfully the property owner was home and willing to show us around themselves) But no contact afterwards from them to apologise or explain. So a poor first impression... booked a ‘virtual viewing’ (during COVID-19) this year and yet again: NO SHOW! I even went to the property to check they weren’t there. Of course we couldn’t get hold of them on the phone and they didn’t get in touch to explain/apologise again. The guy I had booked the viewing with over the phone was very patronising and judging by the other reviews, whether you are buying/selling or renting, Andrews are a company to definitely AVOID. Shocking.

GoogleI’ve been renting a property managed by Andrews for three years and on the whole have had a positive experience. It hasn’t been without hiccups but I feel these have been dealt with accordingly.

GoogleWe viewed a property yesterday and we were told we would get an email first thing this morning containing the deposit info and a form for the references. We said we wanted to move in on the 28th and was told that would be fine. We have told our Landlord she can move her house sale forward because we have found a property and we will be out by the end of next week. We have been chasing Andrews all day for the email they promised to send, only to be told there is another applicant and we have both been sent to the Landlord to review and she will come back Monday with a decision. What are we meant to do? its the 21st today and we needed to be in on the 28th? This is awful service to be told we have not yet secured the property at 5pm on a Friday when we were led to believe the deposit and references were just a technicality. awful service im so upset and annoyed.

GoogleTerrible from a tenant's perspective. The property managers are unresponsive and never pick up the phone. Issues get dealt with eventually, but only after regular and repeated chasing.

GoogleSigned up with them for a property to let. The man in change of lettings made us feel inadequate and really silly the whole way through (we are young, this is only our second rental as a couple). We did not live in the area when starting to look, we had not yet found jobs but wanted to be aware of houses in the area so that we could move asap once we had found jobs. The man in charge of lettings found it down right hilarious that we were looking for a house without jobs in the area and made this very clear to us. Long story short we now both have jobs and have a lovely house for 725 a month from another agent as this agent promised to notify us of houses but did not, and when we called to ask about houses online, the lettings man was completely rude and actually laughed the entire way through my last phonecall with him. I would have hung up if I did not need a house. Thankfully we have not had to use them. Judgemental and rude.

They were also very helpful in finding and selling me my current place. They have always been friendly and are a lot more hard-working than some estate agents. Recommended.

We generally had quick responses to communications, despite being very busy and they were patient when we had some difficulties with the technology required with some of the documentation.PositiveResponsiveness

GoogleVery disappointed with Andrews in the past year, after having had good service from them previously. Unprofessional, rude and unapologetic when their mistakes were pointed out to them. I would not use them again. I am sure they are still a good company nationally but they have made some very poor appointments in Stroud in recent years.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value
