A truly caring, proactive and professional service from the very beginning, Ellis Hill is an absolute credit to Hunters and deserves a medal for his patience, tenacity and positivity in what was a long and stressful process in this instance. It is with sincere thanks I write this review about Hunters at Stourbridge, but particularly Jack, who is an absolute star. We sadly didn't use Hunters to market our property (we very much regret this now) but we did thankfully do our purchase with them. From the very beginning the first impression Jack surpassed all the other estate agents with have had dealings with. From showing us round the property, having knowledge about it all and the presentation in showing us was remarkably better than what we have experienced elsewhere. He dealt with our offer immediately, and from then on he has always been so easily accessible on email and phone, and his communication is second to none. If something needs chasing he is on to it. I honestly believe things could have gone so badly without the help and intervention of Jack, he always resolved problems that happened between solicitors and always put me at ease. He has a wealth of knowledge. Between myself and my Husband Dan we want to thank Jack for everything he has done to get us our perfect home. He was the glue that held it all together in the process. At times when Jack wasn't available the rest of the team were all lovely and able to help with my queries at anytime. Jack would always hand over things and appoint to someone else at the Hunters team when he wasn't there, you are looked after every step of the way. So from myself and Dan we would say, forget the rest and go to the best, 100% if you want to sell choose Hunters (and never use an online estate agent, you will regret it) Many heart felt thanks and appreciation for all that you have done for us to achieve what sometimes felt like the impossible.

We recently sold our house and purchased our new one through Hunters and I would 100% recommend them - in fact I already have! Jack was friendly, accessible and helpful throughout the whole process and later when we started dealing with Ellie, she was awesome too. Really approachable, knowledgeable and generally lovely. We felt like we were kept up to speed with everything that was going on, if something needed chasing up to move things along - this was always no problem for them and they did this proactively. They proved to be a really key link in the chain that just kept everything together. With something so important like finding a new home, it was always reassuring to know that if the Hunters team said they would do something, they kept to their word and made it enjoyable along the way. We decided to sell our home earlier this year to take advantage of the market while we were waiting for our new house to be ready. After speaking with the 5 top rated agents on Google for valuations, I can say with absolute certainty that Hunters (specifically Ellis) gave by far the best first impression. From the beginning, Ellis was professional, friendly and gave a realistic valuation (which is saying something considering that there was a £40k difference between the figures from the other agents, on a house worth "only" £175k!) We were initially reluctant to use a traditional high street agent, due to the high fees and typical estate agent stereotype (that we have both, unfortunately, experienced before). Ellis completely subverted these expectations and provided an exemplary service throughout. Within 5 days of putting the house on the market, Ellis secured us a great amount of offers to choose from, and had secured us committed buyers. He provided honest advice and guidance throughout the negotiation and legal process, which was greatly appreciated as first-time sellers. Ellis was always there to answer any questions and kept us updated regularly throughout the entire process. He also generally put up with us and our unusual circumstances! Trust is so important (and depressingly rare) when selling your most important asset, but Ellis proved himself to be incredibly trustworthy, knowledgeable and an absolute star from beginning to end. I would happily recommend (and have!) both Ellis and Hunters to anyone selling their house. We fully intend to work with Ellis again, and look forward to the pleasure of doing so :) Becky and Alex :)

Ok well ,Recently I sold my house through Hunters in Stourbridge , that was not easy decision, that’s why when I had my valuation booked with Harry S. senior sales. I was straight forward with my expectations, Harry was really helpful and clear with everything and his knowledge about the sales market was impressive ,he promised me he will do his best to get the price I want and get everything sorted ASAP . Honestly he sold my house in couple days for even more money I wanted. The communication during the sale was impressive I was only waiting couple hours for his response on emails , call me for any updates even this small ones but I knew exactly where we was in process . With the housing market the way it was we were quite sure that the house would sell fast but what we wanted was an estate agent to allow us time to find the right property and not get rushed into buying somewhere because of pressure from the buyers. After getting quotes from a few agents we decided to go with Hunters because they were the only agent to really mention the after sales support. As predicted the house sold quickly for its expected value. After that we managed to find our new home and 7 months later we finally moved. Within 35 minutes of the phone call Beckie had contacted the landlady and the electrician and they had contacted me to come and fix the issue. Beckie was so lovely, kept us upto date with everything going on and ensured the problem was fixed quickly as we have a small baby.

Avoid this agency at all costs.

I paid a £135 holding deposit to secure a room with an agreed move‑in date. The moment they took my money, they changed the date and told me I could only move in several days later. Because of their change, I could no longer proceed and asked for a refund, which they refused. Every part of the process felt unprofessional. They changed key terms after taking payment, ignored the written agreement, and then tried to keep the deposit even though the change was entirely on their side. I had to escalate the issue to the Property Ombudsman because they simply would not do the right thing. This experience caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and disrupted my housing plans. Based on how they handled this situation, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before handing over any money.

Awful experience trying to arrange a viewing. Spent yonks on the phone with a robot. It asked me unnecessary questions and misheard things; then had to reconfirm everything. Eventually it was happy. I hung up and it started again this time by text. In the end it refused to let me have a viewing unless I told them my spending budget - which I wasn't prepared to do. Do not sell your property through these idiots.
