Our venders were using Hunters, Ellis was our main contact there. He was absolutely brilliant! He went above and beyond for us, our estate agent was useless!! Ellis kept us in the loop at every stage, did what he said he would do and contacted us when he said he would, cant sing his prases enough! The whole team there were a pleasure to deal with, everyone I spoke too most helpfull. 5⭐️ Service received from start to finish! Very professional & great attention to detail. Jack had our house on the market In no time and by the end of the 2nd day had back to back viewings for the weekend. From the viewings he got us an offer for ABOVE the asking price! Throughout the whole sale Jack kept us up to date with emails & phone calls, even chased for updates from other services off his own back. Not once throughout the sale did I need to "chase" for updates from Jack. From instructing Hunters to completion of sale it all went through within 9 weeks! Couldn't recommend Hunters enough! Hunters were not my Estate Agent as i was the purchaser of a property being advertised for sale by this agency. Ellis Hill at the Stourbridge branch was the contact and i cannot overstate the value in his contribution to get this deal over the line. Ellis certainly went the extra mile, regularly prompting a somewhat sluggish sellers solicitor into action, and taking the time to contact me on an almost weekly basis. It got to the point where i had far more confidence in contacting Ellis to get something moved forward than any of the conveyancers involved in this transaction. I would definitely recommend Ellis, and indeed Hunters in general.

Very pleased with the service provided by Hunters regarding the sale of my house. All of the team I had the pleasure to speak or deal with were on every occasion friendly, attentive, helpful, understanding, patient and kind. We were so impressed with the service we received from Hunters Stourbridge and Jack in particular. They made the process of selling and buying so straight forward and honestly don't think we would've taken the plunge of moving with a one year old had they not have been so supportive. Jack kept the channels of communication open with all parties involved (even solicitors!) and called on weekends and out of hours to check in with us and keep us informed. Our house sold to the first people that viewed it and again, we aren't sure this would've happened without the advice and help from Jack. We would wholeheartedly recommend Hunters Stourbridge if you are looking for a personal and professional service alongside a bit of humour!! Thanks again to Jack and the team for everything. We had never really heard of or noticed this estate agents before and initially were quite hesitant as first time buyers with no idea of the process of buying at house. As first time buyer's, almost all of the process was unknown to us and the team at Hunter's were extremely helpful in explaining each stage and next steps for our benefit. They also ensured that we were kept up to date throughout the process and that the sale kept moving. Midway through the process, they were forced to move to home-working and the change was seamless as they maintained professional and frequent contact with us. We thought that the current COVID-19 situation would delay the sale, but there consistent chasing up meant that we were able to complete without any stress. We were referred to Hunters by a family member. Jack came around very quickly, was extremely professional discussing our needs and gave detailed information on value of house as a comparison against others in the area. Jack was an absolute pleasure to deal with, negotiating the best deal for us. We had regular updates of how things were progressing. Nothing was too much trouble or a problem. I would highly recommend the service, having used previous estate agents or online options I have certainly found this the better option. Steve valued our property fairly and after several other valuations from different agents, we decided to go with Hunters as Steve was the most helpful and professional. The house was promptly put on the market once the photographer had taken the photos, which we did pay extra for but we were pleased with them. We had several viewings booked within hours of the property being listed and we accepted an offer that we were hoping for within 24 hours. All through the search for our perfect home every member of the team was helpful and kept in regular contact with us. Sam has especially been a great help to me and my family over the past few very stressful weeks, she has gone above and beyond what we expected and we are so very thankful for all her help. If you’re looking for an estate agent, look no further! Hunters are amazing. Jack was our contact who was beyond brilliant but I had contact with the whole team when arranging viewings and every single member was great - professional, helpful, communicative and did exactly what they said they would when they would. If only we had bought through Hunters too! They arranged viewings at similar times to make it easier for me, the advice they gave throughout the offer process was spot on and then after offer the ongoing contact and keeping us to date with everything was timely, proactive and a real help. As first time sellers we had a few different estate agents round to value our home prior to proceeding with Hunters. Out of the three, we were most impressed with Hunters as they had a professional (non pushy) approach and actually listened to our requirements, which influenced our choice. Once our house went on the market, we were inundated with calls for viewings. By the end of that week we had c.15 viewings which Hunter's kindly grouped into sessions for us over the weekend, as opposed to sporadic viewings. Following the weekends viewings we were pleased to find we had 3 offers, 2 of which were over the asking price. If we were to have gone with the other estate agents advice we would have put our house on the market £20k lower, which proves to me that Hunters listened to what we wanted, ensured it was realistic and didn't try and force us into a quick sale. Once we had accepted an offer, we still hadn't found anywhere to buy. Hunters did all they could to help us find our new home, again without being pushy. We didn't find one through them in the end, but the service provided to help us was great. In the latter part of the sale we mainly dealt with Samantha who has been great at keeping us up to date, speaking with our solicitors and dealing with our buyers to ensure a smooth transaction. (We also dealt with Steve, Jack & Harry in the earlier stages who were also great!). Upon contract exchange the for sale sign was removed efficiently, which I thought was a nice touch, as no new buyer wants to move in with a sign still outside for weeks to follow. To summarise, we couldn't recommend Hunters enough and would definitely use them again in the future.

Refused due to having children, unlawful discrimination

Contacted this agency regarding a view of 3-bedroom house. The advertisement contained no restrictions regarding families with children. During the phone call, the first question asked was whether we have children. Once this was confirmed, we were immediately refused solely on that basis. I asked several times why this restriction was not stated in the advertisement, but I received no explanation or answer. Refusing access to rented accommodation because a family has children constitutes unlawful discrimination under the Equality Act 2010. Letting agents are legally required to comply with this legislation, regardless of landlord preference. This experience raises serious concerns about the agency’s compliance with UK equality law. I am sharing this publicly so other families are aware.

Bad communication

I have been trying to contact them for 4 months in regards to my flat and contract but they are absolutely appalling at responses and making things clear and helpful for those they are letting to. They have sent me in so many different directions on who to contact and have stopped responding to me within one week of me first contacting them. On top of this it took them weeks to respond and report to maintenance issues, and when they did the response I got was rude and abrupt. As well as that they issues weren't resolved fully resulting in me feeling uneasy in what was meant to be my own space. Absolutely awful service and wouldn't even consider letting/renting from them again.
