lettings fees are very high

For lettings their fees are very expensive. First 3 months of my 450 rent studio flat they took and I did not get anything. When tenant leaves another month will be gone as inventory check is 180 and cleaning in 250 and this is for a studio flat. If i want to cancel the contract i have to pay 900. Stay away.

Hunters marketed our property for us and have been nothing short of amazing from start to finish . We did not have an easy ride during our property journey with pulls in the chain our seller pulling out of the sale last minute , having dealt with other estate agents during this others communication doesn’t come close to comparing with hunters . I absolutely loved the pictures of my house and the write up most definitely did my house justice. Using Hunters for the sale of our property was magnificent. From the inception we were really well looked after by the whole team but that started with the professional and excellent, Harry. He was so productive in getting us on the market quickly and found us a buyer very soon after. Harry was always on-hand to pick up the phone to, and was always professional even after we kept calling to get updates on our sale. To say we’re disappointed with the level of communication from the Horncastle Branch with Michael and Susan Noonan is an understatement and the level of service is a far cry from Michael's commitment to customer experience.Researching this branch shows multi-occasions that this activity has happened here.If you’re viewing a property with the intent to buy, don’t expect them to tell you if any other parties are interested. They’ll just pull it from under your feet along with any visions or excitement of a future you had in said house.Viewed a property two weeks ago, following the viewing we had a really positive conversation with Susan in the office expressing great interest, no more than a week later sold to another buyer with no communication. It would have been professional and courteous to reach out to the buyer but more so to the seller, as I’m certain they would like to have known of other interest. Susan and Michael took away any opportunity or chance to put in any offers, resulting in many wasted hours.I wouldn’t usually leave a review; but the tone in which Susan delivered the news was blunt, lacked any sort of empathy and very closed, to date I am still waiting for a reply to my email which I can only assume has been ignored.We will steer clear of this company for future sales and purchases, knowing that their priority doesn’t appear to be with either buyer or seller.Happy to receive a call or email to discuss our experience with you.

We had a bit of a roller coaster ride in moving house. Selling the house was no problem, but buying one was quite something else. We had sold ours within a couple of days and found one suitable only for the vendors to move the goalposts with the price and hike it by 20K- after we had the survey done. After that fiasco, we took the property off the market and then 6 months down the line, we sold again within a couple of days having found another property where the vendors actually knocked 5k off the asking price. Thanks to Steve Christie for his hard work and perseverance we have finally moved! We don't plan on moving again, but if we ever did, we would have no hesitation in using Hunters again
