Great job, worked hard
Had a difficult property to sell. The guys at the Loughborough branch worked like Trojans on my behalf. Kept me informed, good frank advice.

Lincoln branch
I've used the services of the Lincoln branch of NewtonFallowell for both house purchase and property lettings management. Rebecca Ablard and the team are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Keep up the good work! DavidG

Avoid NewtonFallowell Lincoln!
Very disappointed with this estate agent. We found them to be dishonest, unprofessional and rude. We did not hear from them at all during our house sale process, no updates, nothing, and it was down to us to actually get the house sale through. Very poor service and I would not use them again.

Absolutely phenomenal. The team at Goodchilds have been exceptional throughout the process of myself and my partner getting onto the property ladder. Rhys in particular has always gave so much of his time helping us to get our perfect home in penkhull village. Being first time buyers, we never felt overwhelmed and all of our questions were answered extremely quickly. I couldn't recommend Goodchilds enough! A huge, huge thank you!

I have worked with Goodchilds in Stoke for a number of years on both their sales and lettings departments and have to say their team continue to offer great service. Currently their sales team are looking after a couple of properties I am selling in more than one location and the service I receive is better than the other agents I have tried locally, I am confident Goodchilds will find suitable buyers for me and achieve the right price.

Grantham Branch
I travelled up from Essex to the Grantham branch to view a flat in Albert Street. The agent was late because he was waiting at the wrong property. I finally got access to find I'd been booked in to view the wrong address. Good job it was only £60 return. Not much of a wasted day then. I got the distinct impression they thought I was below their station. Even the estate agent who sold my property got a frosty reception. Incompetent.

Market Deeping Branch
Market Deeping Branch: never answer the phone, it always transfers to someone at another branch who knows nothing about the property you're enquiring about, takes your number says the branch will call you back - never do. Got through after trying numerous times every day - they must have been waiting for a call from their local takeaway or something and answered by mistake, asked them for some information from the Vendor - usual brush off - will find out and get back to me - still waiting for the call that's never gunna happen. Just what are Vendors paying them for cuz they aint never gonna sell their house for them with zero effort.

Goodchilds are horrible to rent from and horrible to rent to. I do not have a single good word to say about them. My father paid them to ensure he had as little hassle as possible whilst letting and instead they caused even more; sending poor workmen like the plumber who didn't know how to unblock a toilet. When the final tenant left they assured us the house was "immaculate" when it had been recarpeted and poorly repainted, which the contract stated was not allowed. Whilst my partner was letting from them it took several weeks for them to make simple repairs such as changing a lightbulb and all of the repairs they promised would be completed before they moved in never were. When he decided to move out they expected him to show people around the house for them rather than come and do their jobs themselves. They have no interest in providing a good service, just sitting in their office and taking your money.

Rip off merchants! Wanted £415 for a house in an awful condition which we would report and report problems n they would do nothing about them they have since done the house up and are charging less! They are rude unprofessional and dont return calls and when they do they lie about what they have previously told you! We ended up insisting on all contact through email so we had evidence of everything they said so they couldnt go back on what they said!

If you want discretion - please look elsewhere
Anyone use this agent for lettings, please don't. They have decided to reach to my landlord for a reference before my application was passed. It has now left me in a serious vulnerable position with my landlord. Would a recruitment agent contact a current employer before being accepted for a position - nope! Complete morons

Pathetic agents who just don’t know how to respect and treat the tenants. I wish i can sue them for their misbehaviour and their wrong treatments.
Hi Mariam, as explained when you come into the office and on the phone, we do not manage the house that you occupy and the issue you have is to be dealt with by your landlord as the landlord manages this himself. If it was a property that we looked after we would happily hep but we have no authority to do this so unfortunately there is nothing we can do.

These people won't even let me view a property unless I firstly have them sell my house. Spoke to owner of the property who was shocked to hear potential customers are being turned away. They are only interested in getting new clients on the books. I am 100% genuine. I cant sell mine first as I have only had a handful of propertys which I have thought are worth viewing in past year.

Hard to rent a home unless you have specifically the right ID in some situations lists not possible to have all that's supposidly law but others will accept different also even though you have enough iD there to prove you are that person
Hi Linda, Thank you for your review. We follow government guidelines when it comes to renting a property. Please see below a link to the right to rent guide which we follow when it comes to confirming the identification of prospective tenants. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/right-to-rent-document-checks-a-user-guide I would be concerned if you have found an organisation that would let to you without providing the correct documentation as they would be in breach of the law. If you can get the right documentation and have seen a house that you would like to rent don't hesitate to get in touch. Rob - 01782 206713

On a friend's recommendation, I invested in a brand new buy-to-let property in Stoke. As I am abroad for much of the time, I needed an agent I could trust with a full management package. I duly selected a letting agent, but was frustrated when, after three months, a tenant had not been found. I phoned Cameron at Goodchilds and duly transferred the marketing of the property with them. You can imagine my astonishment when he phoned the following day to advise me that a tenant had been found. This set the tone for all my dealings with Rob and Cameron. They are professional, extremely knowledgeable regarding tenant/landlord legislation and, very importantly, keep me fully informed of any issues and the action required. They liaised with the builders on my behalf when there was a major problem at the property and ensured that this was dealt with. I recently visited the house as the tenants had moved out, and Rob, at very short notice, offered to meet me at the house. Needless to say, a new tenant was found almost immediately. To use the old cliche, nothing is too much trouble for them. I have worked with several letting agents in the past, and Goodchilds is definitely up there with the very best.

The Goodchild's team were fantastic in the process of selling my house. I felt that Rob Norton and Rhys Key were very professional in the sale proceedings. Rodney Goodchild (No relation)
