Beautiful property and welcoming staff

We visited the Model Walk development yesterday, it was a speculative visit as we are just seeing what is out there at the moment. Tina was wonderfully welcoming and took the time to show us round the show houses and talk to us about the best options for us considering our current selling situation. Tina was very knowledgeable and was very passionate about the properties and the development. The property we viewed was beautiful, we love that there is a dining room area and a utility room. Both are often neglected in modern builds. Unfortunately, the area isn’t where we see ourselves living but I wish we could pick up the development and put it some place else. Along with Tina too! We will be keeping a close eye on future Gleeson developments in the hope that they build in an area more to our liking.

Think very long and hard before buying

I posted a review before, and took it down at Gleeson’s request as they agreed to look into my insulation. That was three months ago and so far all they have done is drilled two sets of holes in my walls and taken a brick out to tell me there’s insulation there… we knew that. The problem is that the house is cold when the outside is near or below zero, and the boiler is up full all day. It’s 21 degrees at the thermostat and 17 on the sofa 10 feet away. The walls are cold and it’s minus 1 inside the back door. They have procrastinated now until the weather is improving, ignored thermal camera images, and refused to change trickle vents that - even when closed - let a howling gale blow through the house. They patronise me with banal ‘customer service’ excuses as if I’ve never owned or lived in a house before - meanwhile my gas bill is far higher than my previous badly insulated 1930s house. Add to this, the leaks, the cracks, the lack of drainage in the back garden that took months to fix, and the general poor fit and finish, and I can’t recommend them less I’m afraid. I can’t get a final response so I can’t escalate to the NHBC, either.

Brilliant service @ The Pastures

We recently brought our first home at The Pastures site in Bilsthorpe. Mary in the sales office made the whole process smooth and stress free - perfect for first time buyers! She was friendly, informative and happy to answer all our questions. She regularly kept in touch to give us updates during the buying process and we went from reserving to being home owners in 8 weeks (meaning we were able to spend Christmas in our new home). Excellent service

We are in the process of purchasing the first property on the Shorelands in Skegness. I cannot express enough how amazing the sales executive Liam Connelly is. He has been attentive, informative, professional and friendly throughout our purchasing time and am sure will continue to be until our move in date. Liam keeps us up to date weekly and is very through paying full attention to detail when choosing extras etc. Highly recommend Gleeson and we are excited to move into our beautiful new home. Buying a house with Gleesons

We purchased a house with Gleesons and Mary George was our sales executive throughout our time reserving and when raising any issues following our completion. Mary was fantastic and she made the experience of buying a house less stressful. Anyone who has had Mary or has Mary in the future is very lucky.Although, we have had some snags with our home, Chris who was the assistant site manage initially and then Rich who was the assistant site manager after were very good to rectify any issues. Both Chris and Rich are now on different sites. My only negative with Gleesons is we have an ongoing issue with our en-suite which has not been rectified to date and this does not appear to be a priority at this time for the current site team as there is still building on our site.

Great Staff!

Jon has been our sales executive from midway through our journey to now (about to complete) he is absolutely amazing! Jon has always remained professional but personally as a client I feel I have really been able to put my trust into him. Mary George, The Pastures - Phase 2, Bilsthorpe

Fantastic service from Mary George from start to finish. I had to be out of my rented house and had been struggling to find anywhere because I have a dog. I went to an open day to look at a shared ownership Gleeson house at The Pastures. Mary was with me on my journey from start to finish, keeping me up to date on everything that was going on, answering any questions. She made my experience so much less stressful and I was in my new home within 11 weeks, just before Christmas. So far very few snagging problems but they have been dealt with promptly by Mary and the site team.

Fantastic all round experience

Had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Gleesons.It was a very emotional time for me following a break up and I needed a quick turn around but it was my first experience buying a home so I was clueless. Gleeson homes leading the way.

We are waiting on a Gleeson development in our area of Doncaster to start building which will hopefully be this summer and myself and my wife are keen on a bungalow and Gleeson Homes have clearly taken the lead by at least considering people who don’t want to negotiate stairs when they get older by building a few on their developments which other builders don’t even consider. We wanted to see the bungalow in real life and not just on an artist’s impression so we arranged to view one on the Birkwood development in Lincolnshire and was met by Angie the sales representative who was so polite helpful and professional and such a lovely lady. She walked us to the bungalow and we didn’t feel rushed at all whilst we took measurements and pictures so we could assess when we got home. We have to say we were very impressed by the design and actual living space. We can’t thank Angie and Gleeson Homes enough for allowing us to visit and we certainly can’t wait until the development is up and running near us. Once again thank you.

Mary George at The Green helped me at every step in buying my new home! I was really disappointed when i learnt that she had later moved to another development. Very happy with my first home

Buying my Gleeson home (my first house!) in December 2023 was very easy. Alex Fraser at Petersmiths Park was so helpful and friendly, she was super excited for me and very responsive to all of my questions. Two months in and I love my new home and am very happy here. There have been a few snags, not all of which are sorted yet, but Rod, the site manager has been very helpful (and has tried to work around my schedule) and I have no doubt everything will get sorted! Excellent experience as a first time buyer

My experience as a first-time buyer went so smoothly, thanks to Kath Morris at the Lune Park Wigan project. From the time I reserved my plot, I was given enough information and guidance. Followed by weekly updates about the building progress which gave me peace of mind. Kath and Helen were kind enough to answer any questions and worries I had. The Rowans - Workington

We have reserved a house through Gleesons on their Rowans estate in Workington and the whole experience we have had has been nothing but positive. The houses themselves are great quality and are very reasonably priced for good quality newbuilds!Jodie Hewitson is the sales rep on the estate and she has been extremely helpful the whole way. She has been great to deal with and keeps in touch on a regular basis with updates on the property and anything we might need to know about the estate or anything that needed relayed to solicitors and mortgage advisors. We are hopefully looking at exchanging contracts in the next few months and can't wait to move in to our new home.

5* experience!!!

From start to finish we had a great experience with Gleeson. We had a lovely sales lady called Sandy, who told us all about the development, helped us pick our extra choices and guided us through the process. When we had our New home Demo we had Josh and Sarah who were also excellent and looked after us. We had 3 or 4 "defects" when completing and they were only paint snags as the plot had been stood for a while. There were no major issues at all, and once we reported these on mygleeson app they were sorted really promptly. We enjoyed our Gleeson Home that much I recommended my sister purchase one which she did :)

Buying Our First Home!

Me and my partner had an appointment to view one of the Ennis builds last Friday with Julie at the Saltom Bay Heights development as First Time Buyers and at this point I can’t fault the experience from start to finish. Julie has been more than helpful. Quick responses to any queries we have and accommodating to last minute decisions. My experience with Gleeson at the Meadowcroft development Winterton has been a positive one.From Jill in Sales through to site manager Chris and Scott and Jordan in customer services..all are very helpful and attentative and most importantly "get the job done".I am very pleased with my purchase..I was advised more than once to log any defects on the "My Gleeson" app,which I did and it works ! the 2 minor issues were dealt with swiftly and efficiently,it really gives you confidence in Gleeson.You are not "forgotten" after moving in..I was contacted more than once weeks after to see if there were any issues.Love the layout,positioning and generous sized garden of my new home.The choice of carpets and tiling were to my liking too.Special thanks to Jill in Sales,very amenable,nothing too much trouble.

The Green - Home purchased 2023

I purchased a Gleeson homes last year on the green estate and can say that I would recommend Gleeson to anyone looking to buy a new build property. Mary in the sales office was brilliant communicating with me throughout the process and updating me on any changes or requests. Finding my property to purchasing took around 5 months and the only delay in the process was the solicitors part that was outside of Gleeson's control. The build quality in my view is great, I haven't had any issues or needed to request any repairs or improvements. Ian and his team on-site are great, approachable and considerate to people occupying the houses when it still is in parts a building site as they continue to build.

Smooth Reservation Process

So far, the buying process has been very smooth and informative. Tina has been tremendous; she’s been patient and proactive in resolving any queries we have had. The customer care we have received has made this an easy process and given us confidence in what we are buying. Double check what upgrades are required for items you might assume are 'standard'. Other than that the other options are reasonably costed, and make Gleeson a very good start for First Time Buyers.I look forward to completing the process and moving in!I can't speak for aftercare yet, as I have not moved in, but I will update this space accordingly.

Great open day.

We attended the open day on Saturday 27th January at Firbeck Fields and later visited the new homes developments at Rhodes Point and Vickers Grange.We spoke to Shelly at Rhodes point who was really helpful and gave us lots of useful information and it was Karen Woolley at the other two sites, she was brilliant and very helpful spending lots of time going through the different properties and showing us around the show homes, she answered all our questions and provided us with the necessary literature.Overall excellent.Ruth & Steve King

Deborah at the Monarch Green site has been amazing! We’re unfortunately not buying a house on her site but, there is a completed version of the house style we want at Monarch.Deborah has been full of knowledge and so happy to help. I’ve spoken with her a few times now and she’s facilitated visits to the completed house on two occasions so we could look around to make sure it was right for us. From the very beginning the Sales team…

From the very beginning the Sales team and the Site manager and his staff at Petersmiths Park, New Ollerton, have been excellent and friendly off course. Communication has been good giving me updates on my first home getting built. The Nags that got picked up pre-completion date, got sorted within couple of weeks since i moved in just before Christmas. While living here as well i have find couple of issues with house, reported it and getting sorted out now. Which is good thank you
