The start of the process was great and the getting us engaged in the process was good, sold a great vision for the company and the process, this wasn’t always followed through at the same speed with slow comms, E.G the selling vendor always seemed one or two days ahead of Smith and Friends. Smith and Friends need to look at the flow of data and some times too many people are involved which creates delays and frustrations for the seller. Overall good but could have been much better with some simple tweaks. Thanks

Friendly interactions throughout but only limited support and advice provided. At the viewing stage the staff member freely admitted she had no knowledge of the property and was attending on behalf of one of her colleagues. Offer stage support was fine. But later in the process, when I needed support to deal with an issue with the seller it felt that they were reluctant to get involved. I understand the seller is ultimately their client but all the same it was difficult to see what professional expertise they brought to the party. Disappointing.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I sold through Smith and friends and what can I say other than a sincere thanks to the Darlington staff who were recommended to me through a colleague. I was kept informed and up to date through the whole process and they were very helpful and responsive with any questions I had (which was a lot!). I would not hesitate to recommend Smith and Friends, they are top notch at what they do.

Everyone I’ve spoken to at the Ingleby Branch has been amazing. Victoria and Andrea especially have been lovely & helped throughout the whole process. It was a long 7 months so the help was very appreciated during the ongoing stress. They happily reached out to contacts for me when I struggled to get responses so kept things moving. Overall great experience :)

I would not sell my house with these people badgered while I was buying advised by one not to have a survey to realise when I bought the house ive water leaks everywhere and drains not covered for sewage ..no pipes going into drain from boiler ive had a plumber out who also noticed all this aswell.unhelpful unless they are pushing a sale don't care about the buyers so if I sell it won't be through these .I would like to add some of the girls are lovely and was helpful and did do a lot while I was buying but the attitude of some of the others that's caused this review
***update 12:26pm 2/8/24***Email sent to Karen with copies of notes offering a survey referral to Trew Surveying.I have advised I will review the call log on my return from annual leave and contact Karen with my findings. From the moment our house was put on the market to the day of completion we were so pleased that we asked Smith and Friends to sell our house. Everything about the selling process was expertly and professionally explained to us in person. The advertising of the property was superb with extras such as drone footage. Throughought the sale we were kept up to date of proceedings by the diligent, courteous and friendly staff.
