Intercounty have been fantastic

Intercounty have been fantastic from the beginning right through to the day we sold our house. The promotion of our house and the specification of the sales brochure was excellently thought out and attractive to new buyers.Andy was always available when we needed him and everyone at south Woodham branch were friendly and approachable.They have always been quick to chase up other buyers and solicitors within the chain to ensure that all sales and purchases run smoothly.If we ever sold again we would definitely use Intercounty.

I can only start by saying huge thank you to Josh, Charlotte, Lisa and the team for their help with our recent purchase. The process from start to finish as been both stress free and enjoyable thanks to the teams efforts. The team have all been on top form, very professional and hard working from the girls coming out on various viewings (of which we may have overstayed our welcome sometimes) to Josh working behind the scenes to progress the sale while having to endure numerous phone calls from myself. Fantastic Staff! Will definitely use again

The staff at Intercounty in Stansted were fantastic . Special mention to Jenny who talked us through the whole selling and buying process and with her explanation and advice she made us feel very at ease with what can be a very stressful process. All the staff are very professional at all times. They took care of 90% of the viewings and updated us every step of the way and gave good feedback from prospective buyers as well. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future!!

Helen Mehmet did a good job

Helen Mehmet graciously drove me from property to property in winter 2018/19, listened to our requirements, saw how much we had brought from South Africa, and then searched for something that could meet our needs. I think she did a good job of showing me a range of sizes and locations so that I could understand where our property fits into the housing stock on the market.She was always friendly and professional and came up with two properties that were potentially suitable. There is probably a bigger property out there but we settled on a house built in 1956. Being old it needs some work but it is ours: no more paying rent (and therefore paying off the landlord's mortgage!). We have parking, a garage and a room we have dedicated to laundry: drying, ironing, folding all in one place. Fantastic!Buying a house in the UK was onerous: we discovered it is a very expensive process, complicated, confusing and stressful. In that regard our solicitor from Premier Property really looked after our interests and advised us.

Flat rental

After deciding to rent my flat I saw 3 agents from different companies.I was most impressed with Dan from the initial meeting, he was very thorough, had excellent knowledge of the rental market and great advice for a new landlord.He worked with me to my timeframe and after advertising the flat to rent it was taken 4 days later!I wasn’t aware there was so much to sort out when renting a property, however I can say that working with Dan has made the process as easy as possible for me. Nothing was too much trouble, whether it was a query I had via email or telephone, and always responded the same day. When I was packing he came to me at the flat as it was easier for me.Excellent customer service and I cant recommend Dan highly enough.Many thanks Diane

Professional and extremely helpful Letting Agent

We have been renting our property through Intercounty for two years and as long term tenants we are extremely happy and satisfied with the excellent service we have received through the Bishops Stortford office. Intercounty helped me find my first home! Everyone always answered my phone calls and even texted me when convenient when I was a work and couldn’t answer the phone. And questions I had big or small there was always someone there, right from how to pay my bills to setting up insurance for my contents and my self! It has been a very good and rewarding experience with Intercounty in finding an excellent home in Stansted Mountfitchet.I had contacted other lettings agents in Bishop Stortford and i have to say i particularly did not have a good experience with few of them. This led to me contacting Intercounty and right from my first call to them until completing all formalities for the Flat that was provided to me......it was a very professional and courteous service added with a personal touch to it all the way.I will like to thank Harry, Amy, George............with special mention to Reece who helped me to find my right home. We have been extremely impressed with Intercounty Bishop’s Stortford, from start to finish. From the first class customer service we received from Meg (when we first walked in last year). This was then followed by excellent service from Helen Mehmet, who worked tirelessly on our behalf by securing our sale and purchase (to which we’re both extremely grateful to her for). We then dealt with Doug Whybrow thereafter, who has been very efficient and professional throughout this process. We are now due to complete on Tuesday. We highly recommend this Estate Agent. A great company and great Agency! I would definitely recommend the Bishops Stortford office, the whole team were very helpful & professional with what was a complicated sale. Doug Whybrow was extremely helpful & approachable and it was very reassuring to know that he was always available to help me out with any issues that arose. A big thank you to Doug. I also used the services of the lettings department who were all very friendly & helpful. George was particularly helpful and worked very hard on getting the rental all sorted on what was an extremely tight time schedule. It was a real challenge for him but he did it! Excellent Service!

We invited a few estate agents to provide us with a valuation, and also considered selling via one of the new online estate agents. We decided to go with Intercounty even though even though they weren't the cheapest option. What a great decision! The whole team listened to our story and concerns and ideas. Special thanks to Will and Peter for initiating the sale, especially Will! Also many thanks to Ellen for arranging the mortgage and also to Doug for keeping us up to date on the progress and dealing with our questions and keeping the sale on progress.
