TrustpilotIs that what is called a fully managed lettings?
Spectacular attitude and service from start to end.It takes weeks just to get a reply and months to address an issue or repair. When I say months, it's literally months - fixing the balcony door took eight months, making us spend hundreds on extra heating during the winter. Some of the repairs that the landlord is obligated to perform are still not addressed after a year. And after such brilliant behaviour, they dared to ask to increase the rent by £300. Then, shortly after that, they sent a notice when we were on planned holidays they were aware of, cutting in half our time to find a new home and putting us at risk. Luckily, we found a new home quickly, but even now, they are scraping together the last pennies, not letting us out a few weeks earlier.Of course, they could start blaming the landlord for everything, but don't they have a fully managed letting agreement with the landlord? Or does this agreement not even let them reply to emails without the landlord's permission? They are not available only when it comes to obligations. But when it comes to their or landlord's favour, they are instantly available, super quick and responsible. What a coincidence.
Savva, as we have an on-going situation it would be unwise to comment further at this moment.

As a landlord with Stanmore Ellis & Co for a long time, I have found Howard Starr and Kevin Belous to be incredibly helpful regarding a dispute I had with my tenants. They worked very hard to find ways to resolve the situation and are very knowledable about letting and sales . Based on my experience, they will certainly take care of landlords through their excellent service and expertise.Highly Recommended.

I decided to opt for Ellis having considered two other agents who gave me different valuations. What made my mind up was the positivity and optimism right from the outset from the Ellis reps, who immediately recognised the potential in the property and what buyers were looking to do. It wasnt so much flannel but actually seeing the potential, the location etc from my perspective. For me having that validation was incredibly important and reassuring. Throughout and what in the end turned out to be a protracted marketing of the property not helped by Brexit and Covid, I found the service provided by the Ellis team, Howard, Raj and Rakesh to be excellent, genuine and very supportive. Throughout they kept me fully updated on offers, and offered advice without ever being pushy regarding pricing strategy. They continued to review how the property was marketed, fresh pictures, a range of online channels and even suggested alternative sales options, such as the auction route. In the end we persisted...the final price though not reflecting my ideal did nonetheless reflect the challenges of the market, and cost of upgrading the house for any future buyer...so a realistic outcome. Finally, exchange of contracts and completion was handled seamlessly. The commission was well earned in the end....and I am very thankful to the Ellis team for their patience, perseverance and very human (not smarmy at all like some agents) friendly support throughout.

The estate agents have been super helpful in supporting me with buying my first property. Due to the length of time it took for me to complete and my original estate agent leaving the company, there was a lot of handover between different estate agents which could have been smoother. I also had some issues with my solicitor that was out of my control and felt some unecessary pressure from the estate agents to complete, but everything else was great.
