The location at Wynyard is great.However people have lived here for years and some street lights still don’t work eg 6C4858. It’s a great woodland area but CC need a sort out the woodland that they are responsible for. The finishing touches on an estate are important.

I am in the final stages of completion and the house in Harland Park is ready to move in and the quality is excellent. Darren Graham and Steve have both been exceptional, super friendly, very professional and caring about their job. Francesca from the office has also been amazing to communicate with through the whole process. I will definitely use this company again.

Completion at Christmas.

Completing on the last working day before Christmas was not very convenient. There were a few issues that needed sorting out (such as the front door lock not working properly), but all the site staff went off for the Christmas holiday and said they would be back on 2nd January!

Exceptional service and customer care…

Everything has been great since moving into our new home. We love our house and couldn't fault the service we have received. Initially we had lots of customer care calls and visits to check everything was OK and to note any snags. The site manager Jason has been exceptional and since he came onto site I have felt that he personally wants to get everything sorted for us.

Our experience with Charles Church...

Our experience with Charles Church has so far been outstanding.. From our 1st visit to the sales office/show home to our current (small) snagging list resolutions. Everyone at CC has been excellent to deal with and so ask is too small or too large. We part-exchanged with CC and again that was a smooth and simple process. We were even granted a 7 day permit to remain in our previous property to allow time for carpets/flooring etc to be done before we actually moved. This revealed alot of stress and pressure on our actual moving day and meant we could move at our own pace rather than that of our incoming buyer for example. We would 100% recommend CC especially the team (pre and post sale) at Woodhorn Grange.Keep up the great work :)

My honest Charles church review - We had previously been new build…

We had previously been new build customers of 7 years so when we decided to buy a bigger house we wanted another new build. We found Charles church. The house ticked all our boxes and we fell in love with the house and the area. We first visited the sales office in feb 2023 and was dealt with by Judith. The service we received was excellent always there to answer questions and always there to keep the sale moving and pushing solicitors as when required. Every new house has its teething problems and everything has been dealt with in a timely manner and to our satisfaction. The only downside to our new house I feel needs mentioning is our plot and many like us have an attached garage to our neighbours garage and only one have been given electric to it. It’s causing many issues amongst residents as we can’t buy an electric car if we want one. The work it would entail to now have electric put in is not worth the headache this may require a future move which we thought our new home would be our forever home. Overall we love our new home,lovely quiet development and our children are very happy. Charles church have been excellent and would highly recommend.

Really good experience. First off, we’ve been in the house for a week and have found the finish, material quality and fit to be of a really high standard - but that’s kind of what was expected and we weren’t disappointed.What’s really made the experience stand out is the team - Jodie, Debbie and Connor are amazing.They’re super accommodating and flexible during the purchase process and transparent on dates, which helps with planning etc Now that we’ve moved in though, they’re all over the handful of little things that’s not 100%, there really weren’t many, but Connor can’t do more to ensure it’s just right.Highly recommended.

We had a great experience buying with Charles Church in Festival Park Easton, Norwich.We done a part exchange - we were offered a fair market value for the property we part exchanged, the whole process was very smooth and quite simple to be honest. We had a lot of support from the sales advisor, Briana, she was very helpful and supportive during whole process, from the reservation process, to the exchange, to choosing the finishing touches until completion, she was very helpful and made things easier. We moved in on 28th of June, we had a few very minor snags, as you would expect in a new house but they all got resolved in a few weeks, both site managers, Julian and Joe,were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get everything resolved to our satisfaction. Really can't fault them, we're very happy so far.

Be aware there will be issues that will take an age to sort

We’ve had endless problems from the sale and what was included through to the sagging. 3 weeks in and we are still awaiting for the sagging to be sorted. Customer care office seem to not bother replying or really care. It’s always someone else that has to sort out one thing or another which can be annoying when someone has said they will do what is required to get an issue fixed and another has said ‘don’t know what you’re talking about’. We can only ever get one person to look at things and when he’s on holiday, his boss or colleagues don’t seem to care as they are too busy (Steve, top worker in what seems to be everyone’s else’s jobs). We got hounded for a review the month after reserving our plot and kept getting hounded to a point whereby we point blank refused and finally got left alone, fancy asking for a review when you haven’t even moved in and already had problems from the start. Only reason for a 2 star review is because of Steve otherwise we would have given 1.

Initially fine until the build started

Initially fine until the build started. Got letters from them with predicted build windows. We had to sell our house and get out but we were assured by the letters that our house would be ready - No. Don’t believe the letters and build windows! Our house is a dark brick with grey windows and looked really nice until the have stuck a bright white electricity box and pipe right next to the front door - Hideous. Yes it was on the drawings as a feint dotted line as they have pointed out. I have asked for it to be moved but I hold no hope due to recent fruitless meetings with them. We have noticed other houses on the estate where people have tried to hide the boxes with plants but it looks even worse.I wonder what is coming next!?My wife and I would not have purchased a Charles Church home has we known what it’s like to deal with their management team.

I travelled a long way to view and select one of your house's, Lauren was most helpful pleasant and polite as was Kelly on my second visit. Lauren could answer all of my questions without hesitation, always returns my calls explained everything with patience if I didn't understand something. I hope I'm as pleased with my house when I eventually move into my new home.
