Butters John Bee are honestly the worst estate agent ive rented a property off. Their communication was poor from start to finish and their support for tenants is awful. Once we moved from the property the communication became none existant and we were then faced with an accusation of damage and littering at the property. Thankfully we used TDS so a deposit was protected and after 3 month we recieved it as i could prove the accusations were false and in actual fact the property they allowed us to rent was awful. There was an oven of which was last used maybe 20 years ago that was filthy left in the kitchen and three mains wire just dangling out of the wall left behind it not plugged in. Food crumbs were in the draws. The garage was half, and i mean half, full of just stuff left and there was no heating at all in the kitchen. The roof leaked and the repair men not only took two weeks to attend but then just left paint tins and sealant around the place and just around the garden and it then leaked again. I would not recommend these people at all. All of this with a 1 year old, joke of an agency

I contacted BJB in Hanley to enquire about a market valuation and was introduced to Lucy Simpkin. From the outset it was clear that Lucy was very professional, dedicated and highly skilled. Lucy immediately set about to help and did not delay in making an appointment to visit the property, conducting an in-depth survey and providing some invaluable advice. Lucy also prepared a very comprehensive and thorough market review and had considered all aspects in her assessment. Lucy and BJB have provided an excellent service and are delightful to deal with. I therefore would highly recommend Lucy and BJB without any hesitation.

I was mostly helped by Kyle and Josh, they were very polite and supportive, there was a few issues on the day I was meant to get the key, through no fault of BJB, however, BJB ensure that it was all sorted and worked with me to get me into my flat a few days before the moving van I'd booked was due to come with my stuff. The customer service and support is great and everyone was very friendly when I went into the Crewe Branch to pick up my key so I'd like to say a huge Thank You to everyone and I'm glad I had BJB as my estate agents

We had a free valuation from Butters, at the weekend. With not moving house didn't really know how things work, but Emma Brookes from the Hanley branch, fully explained everything! From the minute she walked into our home she put our minds at ease. She was polite and and friendly from the start, she explained everything we needed to know and the fees and was in no rush to get away. We are in the process of deciding what to do, and have had other estate agents in to value our house and I have to say we would highly recommend Emma Brookes compared to others, Emma seemed more professional and made us feel comfortable. Emma came to view my property last week. She was extremely easy to deal with, relaxed, friendly and chatty. Emma was also very professional, I was extremely impressed on just how much background work she had done in researching similar properties in my surrounding area. This research made the valuation process all that much easier has we had so many comparisons to make. When I do go ahead to sell my property, Emma will most certainly be first in line to market it.

Lauren was really helpful, she provided me with all the information me and my partner need to know for us to start the move into looking at our 1st properties. I came to the branch today for some pointers and advice on the process and Lauren could not have been more helpful, I've took away so much information. As a buyer they are a complete…

As a buyer they are a complete nightmare CREWE branch. Try to get an appointment and they want you to wait 2 weeks till they can get all interested parties to do block viewings one would assume to start a bidding war. Do the sellers know they use these tactics? What do you have to do to buy a house through them? I have seen several properties that I know would suit but cant view. Same 2 years ago when both my daughter and I were moving to the area and buying separate properties. Constant obstacles to prevent viewing. Same now that I unfortunately need to move again. I dread seeing a property come on the market with BJB .No point in trying to explain away your AWUL SERVICE. So, after waiting the 2 weeks I arrive at the property at the appointed time and no Estate Agent. So, I phone the office and get transferred to an INDIAN CALL CENTRE who tells me to stay put the agent is. on their way. He will call the agent now and to stay till the agent calls me. Well, we waited 30 minutes and left having wasted the whole morning planning around this appointment. One week on, still waiting for phone call.So, PAUL ROSCOE, if your commitment is to your sellers you are doing them a great DISSERVICE if a committed buyer cannot get to view their property. And you provide a free service to buyers????? What service. There is no service. No matter, I will contact sellers directly from now on to let them know how you DONT sell their property. As a buyer, do you think I can continually wait around for weeks on end whilst you try to create a budding frenzy.. Not a chance. Such a pity that people dont sell their homes every day so they have no idea what a trap they are falling into when they sign up for your awful service.

I had a great experience with this house renting agency, thanks to Ben and his colleague. They were incredibly helpful throughout the entire renting process.
