Hi, My contact for property lettings Alicia was very friendly and always is on hand to advise and help. She was thorough on her work and provided me with the latest information in a timely manner. However in the long run Butters John Bee Lettings and property management has deteriorated rapidly, they ignore tenants and landlords requests to such a point that repairs could not be carried out as information has not been passed from tenant to landlord until full failure. Took over a year to increase the rent after continued communications all of which were ignored. If you value service do not use this company if you value a management team that care.

Disgraceful is all i can advise

Disgraceful is all i can advise. Arranged an appointment to view a house, received a phone call at 12.01 pm to see if i could change the appointment from 15.30 to 16.00. Arrived at the house to see the estate agent leaving with another viewer, both got in their cars and left and yes, the estate agent did see me pull up. Waited 10 mins and then noticed a sold sign in the garden. Called the estate agents who advised the house had been sold earlier in the day & one of his colleagues should have called me!

Don't trust these people especially James keeble this guy doesn't work for the seller but lies to you about house prices and lies about discounts lies about everything don't trust them at all. James would say one thing then when confronted he would lie and say he never did we recorded his lies. We thinking of suing them as he worked with the buyer to make sure to push our price down as he new we are living in the USA. Jacob and James worked together to talk lies and to get the price down. Unfortunately we did fall into his con. We all think his been paid under the table as we have recording text messages emails but he denies everything. Please people stay away

So I’m a landlord and wanted to sort something out. The first agent who I talked to informed me to leave it with her and she will get back to me around the 24 hour mark, whilst knowing she will be leaving for annual leave the next day! I had been phoning for a week and trying to chase up with no luck until I had a chat with another agent Abu who not only managed to have my issue sorted the very same day but was considerate and listened to my concerns. He also updated via phone as well as email to ensure I received an update asap. Thank you Abu for all your assistance!

We are not a customer of Butters John Bee, we chose to sell our property with another recommended Congleton Estate Agent. Despite having no recent contact requesting any assistance from this company we have had FOURTEEN calls in the last two months soliciting us to cancel with our existing agents and give them the opportunity to sell the property. Despite having a call yesterday again from them where we told them the property is sold we received another call today, unbelievable. We are taking advice and have been told to report them to the Property Ombudsman for harassment and unprofessional conduct. Be warned! We have put one star on this review because we can’t give a negative score.

We purchased a property through Butters John Bee and cannot emphasise how helpful Olivia Watson was throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond for us and we cannot thank her enough. When viewing the property, Olivia made us feel at ease and answered all our questions. She kept us informed throughout the process which is extremely important when purchasing a property as it is so stressful. It was more stressful for us as we were moving across the country to the area and we had the extra complication of relocating businesses too. We appointed a third party solicitor to deal with our conveyancing who turned out to be incompetent and very frustrating as they would not communicate and be unresponsive. Olivia worked with us and helped as much as she could to keep things moving and we are so grateful for all she has done for us. We can honestly say if it was not for Olivias help and perseverance we would have dropped out of the purchase. Olivia went above and beyond for us to make this happen. The lady I was in contact with was called Olivia, she was very fast at replying whenever I had a query and she was very helpful as I'm not great with technology and haven't needed to rent or sort a place out for myself for years. She arrived at the property on time eventhough it was absolutely hammering it down with rain, and the street was very tight for cars, but she still arrived on time, dressed professionally also. She showed myself and my brother around the property and explained what each room was and how the property was laid out, she answered any questions me and my brother had and was open and honest with us. She was also very knowledgeable about the property and everything surrounding it such at rent, fees and all those kinds of things. After I viewed the property Olivia kept in contact with me about how the property was developing and what I needed to do to move forward with any decisions I made or am going to make. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and I can't speak highly enough of Olivia.

So bad its frightening

So, you decided tp go with a new agency only to find that the agency who were so excited and promised so much were list as bad as the rest, Thats Butters John Bee Northwich. Today is a week since signing up and still no board outside and thats after three calls asking where it is and given excuse after excuse. Friday last week they go live online without informing me and without getting my approval for the pictures, some of which do no justice what so ever. Today, I speak via phone to Ed at the Northwich branch who tells me that an automated email was sent informing me of being live on line, er no it was'nt. Then ask about property owners approving pictures for online again, Ed states that he will need to check the policy and get back to me!!!!!! Thursday last week when my confidence was sliding I ask that the branch manager speaks with me but no conversation takes place. Today I ask to speak with Emily Wheat the MD of Butters John Bee only to be met with the response 'I can help you' when I have made it clear what i want. Butters John Bee take the universaly bad reputation of estate agencies to a differant level. Within the next two days a mock Butters john Bee board will appear outside my house advising not to use them under any circumstances. As a media owner, it is also my intention to flood social media etc with this issue. Please, Please beware and do not use Butters John Bee Northwich of indeed anywhere.

I am writing this to publicly commend Stacey O'Hara of Butters John Bee for all the time and trouble she has taken to assist me with recent changes to tenancy agreement at one of my properties in Tunstall. To cut a long story short, for one reason or another we have had to alter the tenancy agreement on the property. Stacey was central and instrumental in the whole process from start to finish, liaising with all parties to make sure that the job got done well, promptly and efficiently. She really was an excellent project manager - knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and effective. A real pleasure to work with from start to finish. We bought from Cannock branch last year. I found communication with them poor, when putting offers in they were not getting back to us to say if offer had been declined or accepted, I only found out if I chased. Once our offer was accepted, the advert stayed online, for sale for two months after. The advert was in the window of the shop up until a month before we moved in. We later discovered they had a special agreement with the seller that they would leave it live just incase they had a better offer. Disgraceful behaviour and very immoral. We’ve moved and happy now but I would encourage others to not deal with them.

Olivia Plant was very helpful throughout the whole application process. She was always on hand to answer my questions and ensure the application process went as smoothly as possible. My only issue which is no fault of Olivia's is that the work that should have been completed before move in was not done, and is still not completed 6 days after move in. I would suggest that if work needs to be completed you ensure that this is done before a tenant moves into the property. I viewed the property almost 6 weeks ago and I feel that this is plenty of time for the jobs to have been completed before I moved in.

What can i say, a A+++++ service from start to finish. No matter how trivial the question, it was always answered in a polite and very quick way. I must call out Phil at the Hanley branch; he has been professional throughout and in less than a month of discussing about putting my property on the market, an offer has been accepted and the offer is more than i expected. Phil even responded to emails over the weekend (Saturdays and Sundays); and early in the morning before 9am. Throughout, Phil has put my mind at rest and has made the whole process seamless.
