Special mention to Nicola, allocated as my sales manager she was polite and professional. She really supported me through the process and kept things on track, from sale to completion it took 2 months. FacebookFrom the very moment we accepted dourish and day to sell our home we experienced nothing but professional and sincere advise even through these unforeseen circumstances. We dealt with a lady called Nicola, and what pleasure it was. It felt like Nicola took our situation personally, and made us feel like we were her only priority when in truth, she had many more like ourselves whom had so many questions and wanted so many answers in these testing times. We felt the communication between both parties was first class all the way through our sale and felt that we could ring at any time no matter how small the issue. They sold the property within a few weeks, as opposed to months and kept me informed all the way through the process, which went a long way in taking much of the stress out of the whole undertaking.
I also found the team to be friendly and likeable, providing invaluable advice and guidance, and that made me feel much safer in their hands than previous experiences. They know their area and they know their market. Should I require an estate agent in future D & D will definitely be my first port of call.

GoogleHad the unfortunate experience to deal with a man called at Steve at this agency. Not only did he feel it appropriate to make me feel stupid for asking a normal question, he also made it quite clear he felt I was a waste of his time. However what he doesn't know is that I had a house I also wanted to sell, and if this is how he treats his customers I'd rather go to another agent who doesn't treat people like they were a bit of dirt on their shoe. So not only have they lost a buyer they've also now lost my house to sell as well. Bravo Steve. Well done. Awful awful agent

GoogleThey got my details wrong twice, didn’t bother to confirm an appointment only calling me up on the day when I hadn’t got any confirmation from them because they got my email details wrong-twice! I travelled 38 miles to keep my side of this ‘appointment’ ( thinking I was doing the honourable thing) only for the estate agent to not turn up and refuse to give me her number because it was her personal number ( although she had mine) so I had to call the office or wait for her to call me. Shocked at the ridiculousness of it all and the lack of empathy/professionalism. Had to head back home without viewing the property. Waste of my time, money and engaging with a thoroughly unpleasant person called Lisa. Avoid at all costs.

Thank you for leaving your review, which was very disappointing to read. I have carried out a full investigation of your complaint and have tried to reach you by telephone to discuss. I would be grateful if you could call me at your earliest opportunity. Having listened to all the telephone calls between our office and yourself, I can confirm that initially, you contacted us on 6th January 2022 at 6.47pm in the evening. You requested a viewing for Saturday 15th January, initially asking for the afternoon, then asking for the morning. We confirmed the appointment with you on the telephone for 10.00am. Following on from you not being at the property, our office then called you to see if you were on your way, but you confirmed that you hadn’t received an email to confirm the appointment, although the date and time was confirmed with you on the telephone. We appreciate that you are not local, and you advised that you would come to the property later that day and as the house is less than 5 minutes’ walk from our branch, our staff advised that they would walk down to you once you arrived. You then called and advised that you were at the property and the member of staff was just finishing off open a phone call and would then meet you outside. We advised that we would be with you within the next 10 minutes, and as our staff member arrived at the property, you were not there, so they called you and you advised that you weren’t prepared to wait any longer and had travelled home. I appreciate that we had the incorrect email for you, but on listening to all the phone calls, the line was particularly bad and difficult to hear your email address. It is also possible that ‘@yell.com’ could have been your work email address, so we never assumed that the email address we had for you was incorrect. Sorry that we haven’t been able to discuss this directly, but happy to share all the telephone calls with you, if you think this helpful so you can understand that we have tried our best to accommodate your viewing appointment. On closing, it is evident of your frustration about the viewing and email, but at no time were our staff members unhelpful or unpleasant.
