Was pleased when I sold my house through Ashtons after my first viewing and in the beginning I couldn't fault them. However towards the end of the process there was a lack of communication, my calls weren't returned and I received an email to say they hadn't heard from my buyer/solicitor. That was the last I heard from them. I moved last Friday after still having no communication from them.

We moved to Ashton’s after having our rental property with another agent for a year , with no offers made despite reducing in price twice . We knew apartments didn’t sell quickly in St. Helens , so we were expecting a sale to be a way off. Within a month under Ashton’s, the property had sold. Nicola in particular was fantastic with keeping us updating and chasing through completion. We are now looking to sell our house to buy a bigger family home and will be using Ashton’s again as we were so impressed with the service we were given. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to anyone looking to sell their property.

Ashtons provided us with a terrific service from the start, simply discussing our requirements, to the comprehensive Photo/Video shoot with measurements, then to the widespread advertising and accompanying narrative which was superb. Several "Viewings" followed and one of the first Family's that looked at our property matched the asking price and has now concluded. On top of all that we found Ashtons to be by far the best Value for Money.... Well done to all the Team!!

Arranged for a second viewing of a property that I am in the final stages of buying, the viewing was at 5pm at 16:55 I was rang to say that the ashtons member of staff doing the viewing was running late and wouldn't be there till 17:20, I said that's fine I'll wait since I'm already outside. No one ever turned up, no one rang again to tell me no one was turning up. I was just left there waiting. Was really frustrating and a compete waste of mine and my families time.

Recently bought a house that was sold by them. They themselves weren’t too bad. Nothing outstanding though. Was told sale would be 16 weeks but ended up more than 5 months. Post covid speed I guess. But they recommended a solicitor to me. First of all I wasn’t told that there was a charge for this. ( was added to my final bill) Secondly the solicitors ( tickle, hall, cross in St Helens) they recommended were hopeless. Never any replies to emails. No one ever answers the phone. You never know if what you ask to get done is being done. If you drop off documents you don’t hear back til days or months later that your documents are insufficient. You have to do all the chasing yourself Definitely find your own solicitors
