Facebooknot very good put our property up with ashtons heard nothing promised updates,on market for 4 weeks, rang several times for updates nothing, even spoke to my wife rudely when enquired asking a question. Not very helpful at all will look elsewhere even the office in town looks a little depressing

He re this review Ashtons contacted us concerning the way I was spoken too. After listening to the call they have kindly gave us a voucher for a meal. Would of rather sold my house as lost our dream home. But a nice gesture!

GoogleWorst ever experience as first time buyer. Pushed arround and not been honest with the property details by Nicola Middlehurst. My mortgage expired and I still did not have any idea why they advertise properties that can not be sold. Two years down the line and the house was still for sale. A friend of mine even viewed it and they did not mention the problems about it. So would highly NOT recommend.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleConstantly changing times for meetings, inspections etc at the last minute and then still being late after that. If you're busy with work then expect to be late back to the office. On the plus side the fees aren't too bad compared to some, £150. They will protect your deposit in a recognised scheme and use an independent for the check out. I had no problems with deposit. But not worth it for the lack of organisation on their part, you will be messed around.

GoogleI've recently sold my house via the team at Ashtons in St Helens after they had sold my sons last 2 properties within a week. They came highly recommended and so I thought i'd give them a go myself after having a disappointing experience with another long established estate agent based in St Helens. To my utter amazement, they were able to sell my house within a week and the service form start to finish was nothing short of brilliant. They kept us informed on a regular basis of any updates on the sale and they made the whole process stress free. I can't recommend highly enough this place. If you've got a house to sell then Ashtons (St Helens) just has to be your number one choice. Thanks for a great job everyone at Ashtons. 10/10

FacebookTerrible communication, zero pro activity. A total unwillingness to even try and sell a house. Took two weeks to advertise it. Then had to be chased to get it on right move. Poor punctuation and grammar in the advert. No contact with any of the people liking the property on their OWN facebook page. Took 4 weeks to get a for sale bird up after three phone calls chasing it! And then they have the audacity to quote the wrong information in relation to the cancellation of the authority to sell. Absolute disgrace - avoid like the plague and pick a professional organisation.

GoogleI have only dealt with this estate agent as a buyer as opposed to a seller, I have to say they have shown the upmost professionalism, always return calls, chased up the seller with any questions, went the extra mile when a problem occurred (no fault of theirs), always polite and courteous and made the daunting and overwhelming process of purchasing a property a whole lot easier. I do not hesitate to recommend this company.

FacebookI must start this off by saying Ashtons are the absolute BEST estate agents in St Helens - and We dealt with a few! From start to finish in selling our property Stacey, Jonathan and the rest of the team have been there every step, deservedly earning every penny as they were always on hand to answer the phone, listen to concerns and provide much needed advice. Their fee for selling which has to be said is competitive anyway, becomes a complete bargain for the service you receive - We couldn’t recommend them highly enough! Thankyou!!

FacebookThe first initial impressions were great. I asked for the property to be placed at a higher price which we achieved. However, the buyer was almost 3 weeks ahead of us in the process and we ended up behind 2 weeks ahead in the end. This wasn't Ashtons fault granted but communication fell down and Ashtons didn't really understand how important it was to exchange as we were buying a new build. We emphasised this and only when we didn't meet our deadline and wasn't ready to exchange did a member of staff ask "is it really that serious?" which I am sure anybody would be frustrated at. The buyers solicitor didn't help but neither did our solicitor who was recommended by Ashtons. Overall, the experience wasn't great and I will be sure not to use Ashtons if we ever move again, which at the moment I don't think will happen as what seemed a simple closed chain was shambolic.

GoogleAbsolutely fantastic service from Ashtons in helping me sell my house. This was the first house I have ever sold and they looked after me every step of the way. I would very highly recommend them. They are extremely professional but have a warm personal touch that I feel sets them way ahead of the rest. Wonderful company with wonderful people.

GoogleUsed last year to sell our house, from Jonathon coming out to quote and take pictures to dealing with Nicola (every estate agents needs a Nicola) absolutely faultless. Would and have happily recommended to friends. Nicola in particular was brilliant
