GoogleExcellent professional service from the May Whetter & Grose Team at the St Austell office. Over the last few years we’ve rented through them and used them to manage our own rental property and we cannot rate them highly enough. We would like to say a special thanks to Julie, Amy and Nathan. They’ve always been extremely quick, supportive and helpful. We have had experience of quite a few rental agencies over the years, and this office/company is by far the best.

GoogleI rented through May Whetter since November 2017 and they have always been super helpful and efficient if any work needed to be done. When rent was increased, Nathan informed us before the increase to ensure that we would not be out into financial hardship. In June 2021 the landlord made the decision to sell the property we had been renting and the team at May Whetter helped to find myself a property at short notice. By the last week of June I was still unable to find a property and had found a property which was being let through May Whetter. Knowing my circumstances Nathan helped to ensure I had a viewing of the property and help to speed up the process of obtaining the tenancy agreement within a week of viewing the property for the first time I signed the tenancy and collected the keys. In addition to this, Nathan and the team at May Whetter worked hard to stop the months notice which should have been given in order to be able to move into the new property as quickly as possible. Without the Nathan, Amy, Julie and Jade working hard to help out so much in the past few weeks I have bene able to locate and move into a new property whilst also ending the tenancy at the old one as soon as I could. I would definitely recommend the May Whetter and Grose team if you want quick, professional and affordable housing.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleNever respond to maintenance issues and manager is very rude and has no empathy with your situation or concerns rang them loads of times and went in the office on several occasions all ignored very bad letting agents As usual below reply is complete lies I have the proof my heaters are still not working and my shower uses all water b4 I've finished and goes stone cold nothing has been done they are not gonna admit their incompetence are they !!

In response to Mr Popes review, we can confirm that any maintenance issues that were reported were responded to extremely quickly and engineers attended each time a fault was reported. We have a detailed timeline of events and records of all correspondence relating to any reported issues. On two separate visits a qualified plumber attended and no faults could be found. Mr Pope requested that a different engineer attended from the company on the second visit as he felt the first did not carry out a full test, this was agreed and a different engineer attended the second visit. Due to the fault still being reported we asked a different engineer to attend to see if a fault was present that may have been missed and for a second professional opinion. The new engineer contacted Mr Pope the same day, this being a Friday and arranged to attend on the Monday. No faults found. This third appointment was booked between Mr Pope and the engineer direct. The engineer phoned on the way to the appointment only to be told it was no longer convenient. On another occasion it was reported that a night storage heater was not working, and we had obtained a quote for this which was passed onto the Landlord. All calls are recorded and at no point was any member of the team rude or disrespectful. We pride ourselves on customer service and providing our clients with a high quality service, we believe that the amount of positive reviews we continually receive are a true reflection of our service.

GoogleWe recently completed on a house purchase in St Austell Cornwall, and although we were the purchaser we received great assistance from the May, Whetter and Grose team in St Austell. The team were extremely helpful, professional and diligent at all times especially when the vendors solicitor needed some encouragement to reply to enquiries. Their perseverance ensured that our purchase completed before the Stamp Duty Thresholds changed. Many thanks to the team.

The sale turned out to be a lengthy process with many let downs along the way but the MWG Sales team remained not only persistent but also very helpful right from the very start through to final completion . We were kept regularly updated with progress and given helpful advice and guidance along the way. Based upon this experience we would be more than happy to use their services again

FacebookMWG sold our house within the first 2 weeks of going live in August 2024, first viewer purchased. The process buying our next home via another agent was awful, but MWG were OUTSTANDING, and went above and beyond to help us in any way they could, which did get us to the finishing line by mid December 2024. I can absolutely recommend them.
