GoogleI have regular dealings with Jasmine in lettings and I have found her consistently responsive and professional in her dealings. Whenever I call I find it easy to speak to her, she is nearly always the one who answers unless she is on viewings. She is upbeat and recognises me when I call. She makes booking a viewing easy and is on the front foot suggesting other potential properties that may fit the brief. At viewings she adopts the right level of promotion of a property and when it proceeds she gets on with the next steps quickly and keeps everyone up to date.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleMy boyfriend and I are looking into renting our first place together and we had the pleasure of being shown around 3 properties by Janki. She was friendly and welcoming from the get go, honest (which we really appreciated) and also just made us feel comfortable to ask any questions. She was extremely informative and went above and beyond for us knowing it was our first time looking at properties. We were only looking around for research purposes as we're not looking to move in until early next year however, Janki still gave us a 5* service. She will be the first person we contact once we're ready next year and we know she will look after us and get us exactly what we're looking for - what an asset to the team. Thanks a mil x

GoogleI have rented the property that I am in at the moment for the last three years and I’m now about to move out as I am buying. The care that Jasmine and Janki have provided has been great. They have made sure that everything in the property works properly, effectively loaded with the property management company that take care of the house and when it came time to look for a replacement tenant they were fantastic at getting appointments booked in, showing people around and keeping me up to speed with it all. I thoroughly recommend this letting agency and the customer care that was provided by Jasmine and Janki. Tomas

GoogleThis is the first time I have used William H Brown Estate Agents. I must admit it has been a very pleasant experience. I was dealt with by Jasmine right from the start and she is a very professional young lady and well organised. She kept me upto date with phone calls and messaging with everything that was going on with trying to let my property. She always turned up at the property well before the prospective tenants to give me an update. A pleasure dealing with her. I will definetly use them again. Wishing all the team the best and will always recommend you.

GoogleI have just let my family home out with William H Brown, I was nervous with the whole idea of it, but my mind was quickly put at ease with the help I received from Emily & Chloe. They found me tenants very quickly and managed to get over the asking price too, I would not hesitate to recommend these girls to any first time landlords. Seamless service from beginning to end. GoogleI have had the pleasure of liaising with Jasmine with property I was interested in. She was very professional and receptive with my general feedback on the property. When I asked for a second viewing, she was quick to respond to my request and got me a viewing that was suitable for us both. I was able to complete the process of getting the property I wanted too. A good communicator, professional, likeable and a credit to the company.

GoogleThis review is in regards to the services supplied by Prabs Kapadia only. Prabs acted as my Mortgage Advisor and immediately was very transparent and honest with me about the mortgage offers in the market that would best suit my needs and lifestyle. He was thorough, personable and went out of his way to help me get things sorted - even coming in on days he was meant to have off! Prabs' services isn't covered by the Estate Agency (i.e. you have to pay for them!) but he did make that part of the process as easy as possible so worth the money from that perspective. I'd definitely go back to Prabs for sorting out my future mortgage.

GoogleUtter incompetence from start to finish. Even by the hilariously low standards of estate agents in general, William H Brown really take the biscuit. Having been on their books 3 or 4 years ago, they have continued to call me every few months with some spurious nonsense about my house being on the market (it isn't) or the home I'm looking to buy (I'm not). EVERY time I receive an apology and the assurance that my details will be removed IMMEDIATELY. But then, 3 months later, the calls begin again. So, choose your option for William H Brown - a) they will never remove your details from their system because they operate a system of repeated cold calling just on the off-chance that they might hook a customer or b) they are totally incompetent, unable even to use a basic database. You choose. But just make sure you don't choose to employ William H Brown as your estate agents.

GoogleOverall, my experience could not have been better. I tried to reach out to Prabs as he had already worked with me 7 years ago, and luckily was able to track him down at William H Brown. He responded quickly to our enquiry and within 24 hours we had already started on our application. Prabs provided all the relevant details in advance for our mortgage application which made sure everything went smoothly and efficiently. He has a very professional team at William H Brown and they provided a high quality service and timely updates on the progress of our application from the start to finish. We were pleased to receive our offer confirmation within 48 hrs and the redemption letter within a week. I give my highest recommendation for Prabs or William H Brown.

GoogleJanki Chauhan has really impressed me as an agent. As I was travelling 200 miles to first see round the property I needed a very precise arrangement on a Saturday which Janki sorted out. She was able to answer most queries immediately and those that she could not she clarified within 24 hours. Since I took the property a couple of difficulties have arisen and I have been delighted with her courteous and efficient approach. GoogleWe chose to use WH Brown to sell our property and have found the whole team there to be extremely professional and great to work with. From the initial valuation with Craig and then all subsequent dealings with the team, everyone has shown genuine interest in learning about the property and treating it with the same passion that we as homeowners have. They always sought and delivered feedback from viewers and responded to ideas we had about how we could best market our property. We've felt in great hands all the way and would highly recommend this team. Wayne in particular stood out with his customer service skills.

GoogleI and my wife were looking for a 2 bedroom flat. We viewed quite few flats with various Estate Agents. However none of them were like William H Brown. We were looked after by Jasmine who has an amazing negotiation skills. She was able to secure a good deal for us and we are very thankful to her. She follows up your case seriously to get results quickly. She also worked hard to make sure the flat is painted and professionally cleaned before we move in as we requested. Therefore we highly recommend William H Brown St Albans.

GoogleHaving invited William H Brown to value our humble 2 bedroom flat in St Albans in mid 2017 I was incredibly impressed with Elliot's sales pitch (which was excellent) and for this he should be commended, however MY mistake was believing it. Individually, everyone at the branch is pleasant enough but collectively it is a circus, and the joke it seems is on us. As soon as we signed on the dotted line the lack of communication was breathtaking, and without listing and boring the reader with the numerous examples - it was nothing short of calamitous. I complained at a very early stage to Phil, the branch manager, (who again was pleasant enough) about the lack of, or simply no communication from the staff who were dealing with our sale. It was negligent at best and almost comedic at worst, but of course we weren't laughing. From the outset getting a member of staff to 'actually' call you back with feedback from viewings or the simplest question was a task in itself. Eventually we got an offer, we feel in spite of the agents, not because of them, which we chose to accept. Again we don't feel we were given the full facts of the offer which eventually fell through. It should be noted we don't feel our chain collapsing was the agents fault in any way - but we didn't realise we WERE in a chain! it was sold to us a "cash buyer with no mortgage!" Only when the house of cards began to crash down were we told their home was in a chain, a full 7 weeks after we had accepted. Again, when the ill fated sale was 'progressing' getting any sort of response from them was incredibly difficult and frustrating beyond belief, we were doing ALL the chasing and from an early stage my wife and I felt 'something' wasn't right. we were proved correct. In summary, this is not in any way sour grapes, I complained to Phil about his staff and lack of customer contact skills long before we ever had an offer, and the miserable level of service simply continued up to and including the moment our sale fell through. We of course are licking our wounds and counting the financial ramifications of poor advice and miscommunication. Our perception is that this company have properties on their portfolio that far exceed the value of ours, and they simply couldn't be bothered to treat us, or our sale, with the attention to detail it, or we deserved and therefore we all lost out! I can not recommend William H Brown in any way and would strongly advise you think very carefully about marketing your property with this company, and would remind the staff of William H Brown that rightly or wrongly perception is all! To conclude and to be fair, I take responsibility for making the decision to enter in to the contract with these agents, and again make the point I was taken in by a slick sales pitch. I would remind the reader to do your homework before committing to an estate agent and not make the mistake I obviously made. Selling and buying a home is the most stressful of times and in my experience this company will only add to it. Thank you for reading, you have been warned.

GoogleI was always worried/scared about how painful to buy a house could be however the whole process with William H Brown , especially their mortgage adviser Prabs, was as seamless and painless as it can be, they were attentive, helpful and more important friendly. I would recommend them all day long. Prabs managed to get us an excellent deal meaning we pay less now for our own property than we were paying for our rented house. I will definitely use them again when the time comes.

GoogleAs said by others, William H Brown couldn't care less. No updates whatsoever on progress, only multiple sales texts about buying broadband and utilities through them. They will also pass your contact details to other sales people so you are hassled further. I cannot imagine why anyone would choose to use them to sell a property as they couldn't give a stuff about selling it - from experience I can say the seller and their property are not promoted favourably to buyers. There are many great agents in St Albans so absolutely no need to use this useless bunch.
