Edited: Unfortunately, on our way out of the tenancy, the attitude of staff changes dramatically and they are not responsive to queries unless chased many times. The level of apathy shown by the tenancy manager is appalling. Earlier review: Great experience renting a home in London Bridge! Our agent is Florent and he is super patient, responsive and helpful in the entire letting process. He went above and beyond in helping us out with referencing and check in, which made the process very smooth for us.

Terrible experience renting a property from this agency. We faced several issues with our property which were not actioned upon with any urgency at all. We had a broken dish washer for 9 months of our tenancy. However we received a complaint for loud music from some neighbours once and they were very active in following up on that. Quite hypocritical behaviour from the employees of this agency. Following up only when their reputation is on line but not being considerate to the people actually renting the property. Now I’ve moved on to a new property and it’s been 1 month since my letting reference is stuck in pending because Stirling Ackroyd can’t care to reply or approve it. Terrible experience. I would avoid renting out a flat from them in the future.

Speaking to property managers sometimes be upsetting because things needs doing. But with Widaad, she was responsive and she surprised me with her wealth of knowledge within properties (why issues happen, how long it might take to resolve etc) and industries outside of property management namely investments (I am an investment analyst maybe why we clicked!) which I was totally blown away by and makes me trust her more. Widaad is not just courteous and helpful but also has the brains. It was a breath of fresh air speaking with her and forming a relationship which makes the phone call and email pleasant and less of a chore. As an overseas landlord I was apprehensive in hearing the changes with Stirling Ackroyd. I had different property managers managing my property over the years but one stood out and deserve a 7* ratings but can only give 5*! Widaad has gone above and beyond for me and has done an outstanding job in dealing with my not so great tenants. She was diligent, willing and a complete superstar. AVOID THIS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SCAM AGENCY!!!! Absolutely f-king horrible customer service. Always pushing back on whatever fair request we have (e.g asking if we can get a new mattress after moving in, as the previous tenant has lived there for 4 years; was told *immediately* that it's not possible before even care to check). Agent ghosted us after paying deposit, tried to follow up after 2 weeks and got cut off at any single sentence I was trying to say. Extremely rude and horrible attitude from Leila and her manager who took the phone and told me I'm incorrect on whatever I am to say. Hung up on me when I tried to ask for who will assist with my move in, said office closed and consider my questions solved. I felt completely mistreated and abused from their way of dealing with tenants. unbelievably long reference check processes with the service provider being so careless that couldn't even care to check the documents we provided. F-king ridiculous agency.

We have just moved into a beautiful flat this weekend found through Stirling Ackroyd, particularly with Kyle Moran. From arranging the viewing through to move-in day, the process was so fast, easy, and went smoothly. From the moment we made an offer on the flat, to clearing our references, witnessing our passports, and answering lots of our questions along the way, Kyle was on top of everything and responsive, and he also made the whole experience a pleasant one for us -- more than I can say for most letting agents I have used before! Alex Baker was as professional as they come. I was dealing with about 15 London agents, all of which were good, but Alex was the best. Always punctual, helpful, listened, worked out what we wanted and produced the goods, over and over. He really made us feel we had a choice, even though we thought we were asking for the moon. I can't recommend him and Sterling Ackroyd more highly. Estate Agents, through people like Alex, are getting a well earned reputation for being a real help in finding the perfect place in a complex place like London.

We went were in touch with quite a few estate agents when we were looking for a flat recently and Stirling Ackroyd were the only company that only showed us flats that met the criteria we had discussed with them and that were within our budget. Once we made an offer on the flat we wanted, Kyle was great. We had to move quickly (it's London) and Kyle was fantastic at telling us exactly what was needed. We also wanted to move in as soon as possible and Kyle worked really hard at making sure everything was in place so that we could. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
