I have been looking for a property since November last year. It was quite a tumultuous time in the property market & I had a lot of problems with selling my own house. Pervin from KFH Islington was a breath of fresh air. I have had difficult experiences with previous estate agents but she has completely changed my mind. I had quite specific needs and Pervin was always ringing me and giving me a heads up on properties that had just come on the market and always catered to exactly what I wanted. Even when I said I had given up looking for a while she still had me in mind and would phone me when she thought a property that I would like came up. Usually estate agents will just flood you with anything to get your business but I really felt like she cared. Thank you Pervin you are worth your weight in gold! KFH Islington you have an absolute star there. Thank you for all your help :)

Worst experience - poor maintenance

Worst experience. I live on Gayton road, Harrow. We live in a high rise building and lifts are not working since many weeks. Kfh is least bothered about people living here. We have raised our concerns multiple times to Kfh, but they are least bothered about it. We have to climb up the stairs on daily basis. Kfh keeps coming back with all kinds of excuses, and have not bothered to get even the small issues fixed. Pathetic situation, and we are stuck with the contract. If you are planning to switch home, just avoid if it is maintained by Kfh.

Recently I was in the position where I urgently needed to buy a house after a divorce, for reasons that were both financial - renting was fast depleting my ever dwindling savings - and emotional - I felt very unanchored and discombobulated, and in need of a permanent base. The task of finding and buying a house at a time I could barely manage a grocery shop felt inconceivable: onerous, overwhelming, and frankly terrifying. Thankfully one of the first agents I met was Che Eleftheriou from KFH Crouch End who not only showed me properties that fit my wish list perfectly, but also seemed to instinctively understand that it wasn’t an easy time for me, and that I would require some hand-holding. The process - made infinitely more difficult for me due to ADHD and an innate aversion to forms and procedures - was far less taxing and stressful than it might have been, thanks to his patience and consistency. I will always be grateful to Che and the team for ushering me into a new chapter, set in a wonderful home that I still can’t quite believe is mine.

As a first time buyer, I had very little information to start off and needed a fair amount of help. The best mortgage broker on the planet!

I was introduced to Sawan Shah as a mortgage broker when I tried to purchase a property listed by KFH. He was so fantastically helpful that I decided to keep his services even after the initial sale fell through and I moved on to another non-KFH listed property. Sawan went above and beyond at each and every stage of the process, helping me navigate the volatile mortgage market at the end of 2022 and start of 2023. He always made time to talk me through every offer and greatly helped with my decision making. He is also incredibly responsive to any small question I had, always replying within a few hours. This is in stark contrast with other brokers who are often AWOL for weeks or get annoyed if you ask too many questions.I can't recommend Sawan's services enough!

Friendly and Approachable

We were looking for a rental property for our client who suffered a brain injury and did not have the usual references etc. It was a very stressful time trying to find him a new home in the current climate. The team at kfh, Canada Water were always super helpful. They always answered any questions quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Lack of knowledge and care

From the very first viewing (where Jonathan forgot to arrive and left me waiting for 15 minutes without contact, never showed up or apologised), right up until the end where we had to chase the keys after completion, the whole process was a shambles - Jonathan made us feel pressured and like we were the root of the problem when it actually came down to him promising his vendors too much in too short a time frame. Pressuring buyers because an estate agent has 2 sets of commission at stake is in my opinion, pretty nauseating. When we requested information we would wait for sometimes a week before any follow-up but were expected to have immediate answers for Jonathan should he require them. Added to this, he failed to mention that the Vendor's mortgage was expiring until after the December holidays (a month into the process) by which point, we and our solicitors were placed under unreasonable pressure to complete a leasehold purchase in less than 8 weeks - an impossible time-frame. He clearly knew this was the case as our current neighbours viewed the property to purchase in October 2022. I think it also prudent to note that as the agent for the property, he should (at the most basic level) know what comes included with the property. For almost 3 months we were led to believe the loft was included in the lease and it wasn't. This meant last minute renegotiation which was the last thing we needed and meant we almost lost the property. I would steer well clear of KFH.

From putting on market, to first viewing, to having an offer accepted (at asking price) was all concluded within 3 weeks, and exchange with a chain free buyer has been achieved in a further 7 weeks. Entire process including KFH recommended solicitor has been the easiest property transaction I've ever been involved with. Dealt with Sebastian, Liam and Beyzan mainly. A very good job was done, particularly on the price negotiation, which is where the agents really add their value.

I would recommend KFH, In particular my broker Sawan was a top guy and did an amazing job, securing me a good rate at a difficult time. I'm self employed and a first time buyer; Sawan knew exactly what to do and made the the process seemless. Initially Laurent was attentive and nice to deal and with so i was saddened to hear he had become unwell half way through the process. I hope he is doing better now and wish him all the best.
