I would strongly caution anyone against using Foxtons when purchasing a property. Our experience was deeply disappointing and handled with a complete lack of professionalism, integrity and basic transparency.

When some tenants who had been lined up by another agency unexpectedly fell through, Stephen and the team were quick to get on to the case and found some new ones who signed for a longer period. GoogleI received excellent service from Scott and the team at Foxtons Dulwich. My property was listed with two agencies and Foxtons were much better than the other agency at generating interest and arranging viewings. They helped secure a good offer and Scott worked efficiently to progress the sale to completion. I would not hesitate to use Foxtons for a future sale.

TrustpilotExtremely poor handling of deposit refund, lack of accountability and communication.
I moved out of my flat on 25 September 2025, and my landlord immediately approved the full return of my deposit. I provided my bank details to Foxtons on 3 October, and the online portal confirmed that the refund would be processed within 5, 7 working days.

He was attentive and efficient throughout and went out of his way to keep us informed and updated at each stage of the transaction. His good humour and positivity got us through some tricky times and he was a real pleasure to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend his services.

Two months after the end of a short let Foxtons still hadn't returned the deposit and failed to answer all correspondence. No issues or deductions have been suggested; they simply don't respond and I had to raise a dispute under the deposit protection scheme.

GoogleHolly Jones at Foxtons Dulwich was absolutely fantastic, efficient, and courteous throughout the whole rental experience. She helped me view a flat I really liked in less than 4 hours after calling her, and sorted the whole move out in exactly a week. The only downside to Foxtons is that their charges are well on the high side. But they're very transparent about their prices, and I can have no complaints on that front.

GoogleRented my flat through Foxtons lettings team. Dreadful from start to finish, and to top it off are far more expensive than every other local estate agency. Found sub-par tenants who left my flat in a complete state (filthy, overgrown garden) on check out, mismanaged the check in report and the deposit arbitration. Tenants moved out six months ago and still haven't received the refund of the deposit monies.

GoogleI had a great experience with foxton east dulwich, Gemma ingles helped me find the perfect property. She really understood what I was looking for and also took my budget into account. Once moving into the property Gemma made sure everything was perfect and any work that needed doing was in the process of being done. she was amazing and made this stressful situation very easy and fun :-) thank Gemma xxx
