Yes honesty is a must

Yes honesty is a must! We rented a property through Beals, Parkgate for 4 years. During our time we greatly improved the property for the landlord, new Lino, carpets re decorated etc. always communicated for permission to do so & what we got in return was no thanks, just a cock n’ bull story that the landlady wished to terminate our tenancy after 4 years to move her ailing, elderly mother into our rental. We now understand this was just a lie, of which Oliver Sourmenidis, the letting manager of Parkgate was complicit. I am telling you this in all honesty, something that our letting agents know nothing about!

Our Beals Experience

The agent who showed us round for our viewings (Louise) was brilliant and it showed throughout our interactions with her. From introducing us to an excellent, knowledgeable mortgage advisor, to doing extra viewings for parent/parents in laws to chasing up issues we needed help with. I would give more stars if I could.We felt heard and any time we needed things explained to us, it was done professionally, non-beratingly and clear.So thank you Lousie and Beals for helping us buy our first home.

Unprofessional and LIARS!!!

This is directed toward the portsmouth's north end brunch!The worst and the most scumbag people I had ever dealt with..... This is my months of honest experience and pure frustration dealing with beals.There are just too much to voice out here so I'll only give a few key examples here only.Me and my partner we're looking toforward to our new life relocating to portsmouth due to my new job and we approached beals north end for help with us looking for a new place to rent. This disrespecful person jasmin is the so called agent we're assigned to deal with. This unprofessional of a person literally lack soo much communication skill that soo many things were miscommunicated from the start...1. We were under the impression that the unit will be partly furnished. We were informed that the minimal amount of furniture will be left behind for us to use like just a sofa in the living room only. We have our own furniture to move in with but on the day we collect the key for checking. The place is pack full with furniture, including beds in bedroom and a dining table in livingroom just to name a few. This forced us to for-go our own furniture.... We called jasmin about this and she does not even sound like she cares at all on the phone. Just kept saying the owner does not want to take away the furniture....2. On the initial call, both party agreed that the owner does not mind with pets. But when comes to closing the deal, we got thrown with a curve ball saying the owner want a raise because we have a pet... This is utterly the most disgusting attitude towards animals and the worst level of communication... Because of this, we're are forced to pay more just because we have pets. The worst part is, we didnt end up bring our pet with us in the end due to the chaotic BS and drama we have had to deal with these scumbags. Causing soo much metal stress and depression to my partner because our pet cannot come with us....3. Issues with the house was initially reported early on during the day we moved in. We live there for roughly a year+. NONE of the issues reported ever got address or fixed.... To the point it is soo ridiculous that on the week we plan to move out, only the handyman came by to only access the things that require fixing.... How much lower can these stupid people go down to the bottom of the barrel regarding their communication and professionalism...At the end of the day when we moved out, we did send an email to the main beals email notifying them we are retuning the key on a set date. But some how jasmin amazingly able to missed the email again. Saying that she was not inform regarding us returning the keys. Thats the final draw, we are absolutely done with dealing with these useless and brainless people.I honestly dont know if this is just a problem with portsmouth north end brunch issues or if this is an issue for the wider beals company but beals management team, if you are sincerely listening and if you do have a genuine human heart. Please clean up your act, this is no way to treat customers like that. We have all the email conversation archived as proof of evidence if needed.And as for jasmin, lucy and that one old guy that work with them, SHAME on you all for your disgusting treatment towards us!!How about grow a heart and be kinder and fairer towards people for a chance. Try that for once in your life.

It takes a lot leave your beloved property in the hands of somebody else to look after on your behalf. Amber from Beals completely has my back and her cheerful and professional disposition is very much appreciated. Her communications are rapid, accurate and informative, even if the news isn’t good. Purchasing through Beales has been really smooth. Despite there being a lack of communication from the solicitors on both sides, Emily has been attentive and on the ball, keeping in contact and making sure we are on the same page. She has been professional yet personable throughout and has been a pleasure to work with. I would seriously consider selling through Beals when the time comes.

Finding houses to rent at the moment is so stressful with the current competitive market but Shelby at Beals made our experience anything but stressful. It’s particularly tricky finding landlords who accepts pets too so we just feel very lucky to have found somewhere so quickly. We could not have done it without Shelby, she is professional yet takes a personal interest in her customers, she is clear and concise with her instruction and her communication is fantastic meaning we never had to do any chasing which we have found to be a problem with previous agents. I had a brilliant experience in using beals. I had a faulty tap at one of my properties and they were really quick and professional in getting it sorted. In particular one of the staff called Dion was really helpful and professional in getting the contractors in to come and sort the problem.
