A special thanks to Jorgia Tye and Brett Colman at the Chandler’s Ford branch. Although the process of our sale is currently in its final stages, I wanted to leave this review to highlight the quite simply wonderful support, professionalism and very clear work ethic that has been given to us. All of the team have been friendly and willing to help whenever necessary. Jorgia’s kind and caring approach, along with willing to go above and beyond has meant a lot to us. Our appreciation must also be given to Brett, whose knowledge and dedication helped guide us throughout this process.

We have been looking to move home for several months, but after accepting an offer on our house, we decided to visit all local estate agents to give them our details so they could help us find our next home. Eloise has been extremely helpful and proactive in looking for suitable properties for us. My experience with Beals Estate Agents has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. They seem to specialize in exploiting students by unfairly withholding deposits under dubious charges. Throughout my tenancy, communication was poor, and they strictly prevented any direct contact with the landlords. One particular example of their unfair practices was during the winter when our boiler was broken for a month. Despite repeated requests for repairs, we were left without heating, yet we were still charged full rent for that period. When it was time to move out, they waited until the last possible legal day to inform us of hefty charges for cleaning and repairs, despite our efforts to leave the property in good condition. It feels like a significant portion of their income comes from these questionable charges, targeting students who may not have the resources to fight back. The entire process felt shady and unprofessional. I strongly advise anyone, especially students, to avoid Beals Estate Agents if you value transparency, fairness, and decent service.

We purchased a house through Beals and Lauren was our main point of contact - from the first viewing through to the completion, Lauren was excellent. She was great at communication, arranged several viewings for us and kept us in the loop throughout the whole process. Lauren even went above and beyond at a viewing to help locate a water stopcock and wasn’t afraid of getting dirty!
