Moved into my new build home and when purchasing the property I was informed maintenance fees would be £118. Had my first invoice through and it is £262! Rang up to query and was just informed “it was a rough estimation at the time we agreed contracts with the developers”. How can your estimation be more than double out?! Also I’m paying for “bulbs & bedding maintenance” which there isn’t any on the estate……. Absolute joke

Jackie from the Southend branch I believe, changed my experience. Prior to her supporting my service charge, I had mix ups, miss communication and awful service. But Jackie took over my accounts and smoothly explained everything kindly to me, being very efficient and attentive in what she promised. Thannyou jackie! She honestly is a star! :)

TrustpilotIncompetent beyond belief
Urgent repairs for a safety issue ignored for months on end. Hours of phone calls and false promises from Gateway for action to be taken. Heads are simply buried in the sand over what should be a very simple issue and quick fix. Honestly the most useless and neglectful experience with any managing agent.

Had a couple of guys maintaining our development yesterday. Mark and Paul maintaining the green areas clearing up the overgrown vegetation around the ditches as well, did an awesome job. They were very friendly and always acknowledge you when you walk past. Great customer service from the guys that do the work :-)

I live on a street where this company maintain. However I am charged a yearly fee for this maintenance whereby the estate still has damaged fencing and I am struggling to see how the fee is justified. This payment has gone up year on year yet the work is still the same. Cutting some grass that's it. Very poor.

Please give Gary and Gary employee of the month and any bonus that come with it as they are two of the friendliest and helpful chap i have encounter and pleasure of meeting as i had locked my self out my house to day the the lads done everything they could to help me by doing anything we could do to get me back in to my home as i was working and needed to get back in in a panic mission, mission was a success witha bit of some scraps and bruises and Gary 1 amazing driving skills and Gary 2 having a solid stomach with my bare foot on his hand Thank you both its a memory ill keep and i appreciate you both tremendously.

She was really helpful and sent me an email follow up of our call and asked me to double check some information. Overall the query was handled really well. Please Please Please if you are buying a leasehold building, please check it will not be run by this awful robbing firm. They send additional bills out to you with less than a months notice and expect you to give them hundreds of pounds. They do not care about their residents, it’s all about the money. This should not be allowed!!
