GoogleThe worst experience renting with Robertsons. Left us without a washing machine for over a month, hobs didn’t work for the entire year since day moving in, hoover was broken up arrival never supplied a new one, wifi was a nightmare to sort out, would not recommend to anyone. Landlord very immature and uncommunicative. Also likes to personally call his clients and force them to delete their honest, bad reviews with threats from a lawyer.

GoogleLast year me and 3 others rented a house in the stanmore area, the house was cheap so didn’t expect it to be perfect but within the first month it rained through the ceiling to which Hameed (the manager) called it “an act of nature” and told us it was normal. He was so unprofessional throughout the time we rented, often loosing his temper over the phone (shouting, swearing, calling our neighbors inappropriate names), walking into a flat mates room whilst they were asleep, not fixing things such as lights we repeatedly asked to be fixed meaning we only have one small light in the kitchen. After speaking with previous tenants we found out Hameed has a bad reputation and regret ever renting from the estate agents. We also never heard about getting our deposit back. I recommend going to others such as dybles or martin&co with good reputations and customer service

Ollie, this really isn't a true tail of events and as you are aware the issue was sorted within a timely manner of which we were able to sort and you and the other tenants where all aware throughout the whole time. we are not miracle workers and have a procedure to follow and we are always here to support and help with all our tenants and landlord on any issues that may arise during ones tenancy. GoogleRobertsons property management went above and beyond when our house had problems with the boiler leading to short circuiting of electricity. They guided us through identifying the problem. And when that couldn't be done over the phone a boiler expert was deployed. Both estate agent and boiler expert attended the property and the matter was fixed only a short couple of hours after we reported the issue. It is fair to say this agency go above and beyond when it comes to their tenants even after hours as this incident occurred at 7 o'clock, which is outside normal working hours. GoogleI chose Robertsons because they gave me the best letting monthly rate, their fully managed cost were the lowest, but more importantly they were the most proactive in viewing the property with a genuine view of marketing it with realistic expectations. Hameed organised the letting of the property very swiftly and efficiently, securing suitable tenants in less than 24 hrs after handover. GoogleToday I called this agency around 12pm because I saw an advertise with a property to rent. The person on the phone told me someone else will call me. After wait 30min no one called. I called again, I spoke with another person and finally I booked the view at 3.30pm. He told me he will send me a message with the confirmation. After 2 hours waiting I didn't receive the message. I called again, spoke with another person that asked me again all the questions about my income, when I want to move (all of these I did on the second call, looks like he didn't have any information about my booking). We arrived in the place at 3.15pm, the booking was at 3.30pm. We wait and 10min later arrived another couple to visit the same house. At 3.30pm arrived the person from the agency. He told me he will show the house first to the other couple and later to me and to my partner. He didn't ask who arrived first or the hour we had the booking. When the other couple left I asked him what criteria he used to choose who was the first and he asked me if I have any problem with that. I said that me and my partner arrived first and he said he didn't know. I told him maybe next time you need to ask. He answered me in a rude way and told me if I act like that he will not show me the house. I said thank you, in that case I don't want to see either, but when I mentioned I will give a bad review he changed the speech and told me if we want he can show us the house. Finally we didn't visit the house. This agency today showed they have a lack of communication and unprofessional employees.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleRenting a house with Robertsons has been one of the worst experiences of my life. The manager Hameed, is a very rude and incompetent man who doesn't care at all about the tenants. He would call me daily screaming and threatening us, he would hang up every time I tried to ask questions about our house and when we went to the office he would be rude and unprofessional to the point of cutting his nails with paper scissors while talking to us. On the day we were supposed to move in the landlords denied the release of the keys after Robertsons failed to provide them with our details and documentation leaving 5 foreign girls without a house for more than 15 days. They constantly lied to us and the landlords. After the contract was cancelled they failed to give the money back to us and kept our deposit money until we had to get a lawyer in order to get the money back. I would never recommend this agency, they are very rude, and unprofessional, they will lie to you to take your money and overall very dodgy.

Hi Carlota, Thank you for your feedback. Firstly, we sympathise with you and the situation of in which you have been placed. However the matter was out of our hands, due to the landlord pulling out before the commencement of the tenancy. The reason for this was due to you failing to get the relevant paperwork back to us, despite our attempts to chase you for it. With regards to the threats you have mentioned, these are very strong accusations and if you are able to we would like to see proof of this- our phone lines are recorded and so we are able to prove this is not the case. The deposit you paid was placed into a Deposit Protection Custodial Scheme, and they can take up to 30 days to refund deposits- We did all we could on our end. Kind regards, Robertsons Customer Care.
