This is a delayed review, but I felt it was important to share our experience. Unfortunately, our experience with this agency during the purchase of our home was very disappointing, particularly in our interactions with Laura, who was handling our case. Throughout the process, we often felt unsupported and dismissed. When we asked questions, Laura repeatedly responded with statements such as “it’s not my property, I don’t know,” which was frustrating and unhelpful during what is already a stressful process. We had clearly communicated from the beginning that our situation was time-sensitive, as our tenancy was ending and we needed to complete the purchase before the end of July. Despite this, there was little sense of urgency or understanding. What stood out most was a scheduled meeting where both my wife and I attended in person. We were spoken to for over 15 minutes without even being offered a seat, which felt highly unprofessional and discourteous. During that same interaction, we were also told, “if you don’t want to buy the house, it’s up to you,” which only added to the negative experience. Overall, we felt we were treated poorly and without the level of respect and professionalism expected. Buying a home is a major life event, and unfortunately, this agency, and particularly our experience with Laura, made the process far more difficult than it should have been.

Popped down to speak to somebody today at 12.30 about a property they have listed on rightmove I was interested in. The property is in an ideal location for work and within my budget. Google says open until 2pm. Lights on and people sat inside at desk but doors locked and a ‘sorry we’re closed sign’ on the door. Even if they were busy with other people why they won’t let you in to wait to speak to someone is odd. Lost a potential sale. Won’t bother now and will keep looking elsewhere instead.

Yesterday I completed on my house sale and felt compelled to leave a review about the excellent service I have received from Mann in Locks Heath. Right from the initial meeting and creation of my house sale listing (including high quality photography and a great write-up) Mann have been absolutely excellent. Unfortunately my first two sales fell through due to the Buyers (no fault of Mann), but each time my property was promptly relisted and sold. My property was a flat-roofed house of pre-fab' construction, so Mann vetted any potential Buyers to make sure that they were aware and to assure that they had a Mortgage provider in place who would lend on that type of house (to avoid wasting time). Thankfully it was third time lucky and Olivia was assigned to guide my sale through. I honestly can't sing her praises enough. Proactive, personable, professional and helpful at every stage, she was intrinsic in getting my sale sorted and through during a time of unprecedented demand (a combination of COVID and the Stamp Duty Holiday). She always obtained answers to my questions promptly and updated me accurately and clearly. I would whole-heartedly recommend the team and services at Mann Locks Heath. On a separate note, I would fully warn against using their recommended Conveyancers (Countrywide Conveyancing Services). Use a recommended (or highly rated) local Solicitor that you can contact directly. Countrywide Conveyancing Services were no good at all, but thankfully the Mann Team (Olivia in particular) were there to help and effectively plug the gaps!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I was very disappointed with Mann while trying to sell my house in Spring 2025. Firstly, they valued the house significantly above the market value, presumably as a tactic to get me to sign with them. This only delayed the sale because there were, predictably, no enquiries. Worse, there was then very little follow through from them whenever I asked what was going on and nobody seemed that interested in helping me. The only saving grace is that I had negotiated a one month exclusive period, down from their normal 3/4 months, so I was able to extract myself without too much hassle.

Nicole & Lettings Team are absolutely faultless! Zero hesitation to recommend this branch, and the wonderful team. My partner & I recently let a property via Nicole (and Alfie, if Nicole was out of office) and we had the most pleasant, friendly yet outstanding and professional experience with her. From initial enquiry right through to moving in, Nicole's attention to detail and efficiency with communication was second to none. I have rented many properties over the years in various cities, and I have never experienced a service as professional as this. Even during stages in the process when there was no movement or updates, Nicole still went out of her way to call us to let us know that there was no news yet but she wanted to reassure that she hadnt forgotten us. Nicole went above and beyond to ensure we were moved in on the dates we needed (in order to work around our busy and restrictive work schedules) and to deal with queries that we had along the way. Nothing was too much to ask, and she remained super friendly/happy/approachable each and every time. Equally, on the few occasions that we spoke with Alfie, we were met with the same level of professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency. Every promise made to us was met.
