HWL has acted as my lettings agent for a BTL property on the Waterside since 2006 in which it has been fully let with minimal void periods. The first two tenants stayed for 6 years each. HWL has regularly inspected our property and dealt with any repairs in an efficient manner; it has an excellent network of contractors. HWL's accounting is prompt accurate and efficient. All matters are dealt with promptly by their efficient team.

Actually 4.5 H&W and very nearly 5 if only you weren't so expensive with the various fees. They have given us invaluable advice when putting initial bids in for houses and pushed the chain along on both ends. I've used H and W for many years now and always found them first rate.I guess the real test for an agent is how well they deal with things when they don't go well not when they do. I have recently had some problems with tenants (not the agents fault), but Tina at H and W has been brilliant and resolved a difficult situation in a thoroughly professional manner.

Incredibly attentive service from everyone. I have a property that has been let by H & W for 5 years and every time I have changed tenants they have found a new occupier very quickly and made all the arrangements efficiently. All staff both on sales and lettings care greatly and go beyond what is required of them to help. They are totally reliable and have my full trust !

Wayne has been excellent. We have seen this from both buying and selling. He is completely open and honest, a rare bread. Would only ever use Wayne and find it odd why anyone would not. He is someone on the Christmas card list .

Not a brilliant first attempt. We felt that H&W were only concerned with keeping our buyers happy. Our property was initially undersold which we would of lived with. The final straw was a particularly unsettling telephone conversion with H&W which resulted in our pulling out. With a change of consultant we stayed with them and things did improve.
Dear Ms SmithWe are naturally disappointed that you felt that your first experience with H&W did not meet expectations. This is very unusual, our Vendors and Landlords are very complimentary about our service, hence our ‘excellent 4.9 TP score’. As you will appreciate, since we came out of lockdown ‘Sales’ has been extremely busy with people relocating ‘South’, this has led to prices increasing dramatically on a sliding timescale, it takes traditionally 3 months for a sale to complete and inevitably during this unusual period, prices may change, it is usually taken that each house within a chain will have increased in price too. You pointed out to us that you thought your house had been undersold, it’s price May have increased out of the blue, however when you pointed it out, H&W staff immediately addressed your thinking and a sale was agreed at a higher price. A happy ending to a sometimes unpleasant set of extenuating circumstances, changes implemented well by H&W, all was not lost.Whilst writing we thank you for your review and for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns.
