A professional and expert service

We had a very positive experience from making the initial enquiry through to exchange of contracts. Joe handled the negotiation with our buyer very professionally. Joe and Wayne kept us informed and explained anything that we were unsure of. From the acceptance of our offer through to the exchange of contracts took 8 weeks, and their professionalism, communication and guidance certainly helped with the speed and smoothness of the process. Positive, helpful and "can do"

We bought a house through them.They were always responsive and helpful without being pushy. We really appreciated their honesty and openness: they took time to understand what we wanted and what would work for us and helped us find a house that suits us very well. We felt we could genuinely discuss the house we were viewing with them and they worked to answer our questions. They kept up good communication with us and were supportive when there were some issues with our buyer (not in our or their control).There was always a feeling of "can do". Wayne and Joe at Hythe and Waterside Estate Agents wholly deserve this five star review. From the initial consultation through to exchange they were prompt, courteous and professional. Of the three local estate agents they valued our house the highest and utilised an 'open house day' method which achieved three offers at full asking price on the very first day! This then achieved an additional bid and acceptance which clearly wouldn't have been possible if it was sold in the traditional manner. We were lucky enough to be able to put an offer on a house that weekend for a house also sold by Wayne, which was accepted. As the only party affected by the stamp duty holiday deadline, we were happy with the service and responses we got throughout the process from Wayne and Joe. We were able to complete within the short window before the stamp duty deadline. If I were ever to move again. I wouldn't hesitate in using Hythe and Waterside Estate Agents services again. Great virtual tour

I have recently had some great communication and working with Joe. Honest and upfront, helpful and professional.I particularly liked the ability to not only view still photos of the property we were interested in but the virtual tour. Using the virtual tour helped us to view 360 degree images of the property and then make an informed decision to make an appointment and visit the property. It really has cut down on wasted visits to houses that don't meet our needs.

Brilliant from day 1

First we met Joe who showed us round the property answering all and any questions which was great. He then recommended to us a mortgage broker who was amazing. Our file was then passed onto Wayne who has been brilliant from day 1, we had a long difficult chain which Wayne helped keep on track even getting in touch with people way further up the chain to get us some realistic updates, which where not being filtered down correctly by other parties. When we reached a point that nothing seemed to be happening further up the chain Wayne stepped in and organised a group email with all the solicitors and agents to get things moving and hold people accountable for sitting still or withholding information. Overall i can't thank the Hythe and Waterside sales team enough for making the move happen.

Helpful from start to finish

Wayne and Richard at Hythe and Waterside were helpful from start to finish! We sold at probably the most difficult time, during the pandemic but got a successful sale to allow us to move to the Isle of Man in line with some very specific timelines.In the lead up to securing the sale, we were kept well informed and had plenty of viewings to find the right buyers for our more unusual property. Once we had the buyers lined up, everyone did a great job to push the sale through and keep everyone informed and the solicitors on their toes! This was the second time we have used Hythe and Waterside to sell our property and would heartily recommend looking to sell, or buy in the Waterside area!
