We had electricity issues in our property, the out of hours service at Charters made sure we had an electrician out within the hour. Then the following day our problems were dealt with professionally and informatively by Rebekah who kept us up to date throughout the process and it was luckily resolved the next day. The communication from Charters is excellent and Simon from the Southampton branch is outstanding. He drives things forward and knows the area inside out, which is so important during viewings. A special mention also to Kerry on admin, who is superb with her communication and very responsive to emails. A really good team.

It is interesting to see the positive reviews, but our experience was a bit different. The sales progression team were good, but generally we found the organisation reactive rather than proactive and not living up to the claim we were sold on - we charge the highest fee because we are the best around. I appreciate selling 2 properties is challenging but we were told about a problem with our chain by White and Guard not Charters. They appeared to know more about our chain than Charters did. Also we had accepted an offer on one of our properties only to find out 2 months later at a critical point that one of the chain below us did not have an offer. Why did it take 2 months for this to emerge?Not a great experience and it is most unlikely I would use them again

I found Charters estate agents in Alton are really good on acting on my behalf buying and selling my house I have been updated on every new progress on buying and selling and they also advised me on a very professional removal company to use when I have a date to move I would recommend Charters estate agents for a professional support when needed.
